Over the past two years or more I have been purchasing pizza at your location on 10911 Raven Ridge Rd Unit 111, Raleigh, NC 27614. Prior to my last three visits I found the service excellent. Most times I place my order on-line. Last night I placed my order and then went to pick up the order and decided to eat in. For the third time in a row, the cashier rang up my order, did not say hello, thank you, no eye contact, a total zip head. Instead of then handing me my order which was in the warmer, she picks up the phone. as she had a call on hold. This visit she had me waiting for five minutes, until Kevin supposedly a manager, came over and asked if he could help me. I stated that the cash rang up my order and didn't give me my pizza. Her name by the way is Adrienne. He gave me the pizza and drinks and said here you go. The previous time, same situation, I visited the wait time was close to 10 minutes before she was finished with the call after taking my money and then giving me my pizza. My partner and I went and sat and begin to eat. I was so infuriated that I went back to speak with Kevin about the situation. He actually dismissed me and stated that the cashier was new (not true) and that they had been busy with the state fair going on, lots of excuses and NO apology. Read moreTo start off, the staff were super nice and friendly, 10/10. On to the food. It’s been a good while since I’ve had Pizza Hut, so I figured I’d get some for the fam. I’m starting to understand why Pizza Hut has fallen from the leaderboard and places like Dominos and Papa John’s are preferred. I know there’s only so much franchise locations can do as far as ingredients go. The cheese sticks I got easily seemed like they were frozen and cooked as there was pre-cut markings on the bottom yet no indication of any cuts on top. I used to work in the food industry so I could recognize some similarities w/ similar food I worked with. The pizza.. The pizza itself was not what I remembered hand tossed to be, far from it. The crust was thin and oddly soggy. I’ve had pizzas from a few other places that use the delivery bags to keep orders warm and the crust didn’t suffer, so, safe to say this wasn’t an issue here. As far as I’m concerned, I wouldn’t be surprised if the crusts being used are frozen as I made a frozen pizza (at time of writing) and the crust had a similar texture. For the price I paid, almost $65, I expected Papa John’s quality, instead I got food Little Caesars can, and has, surpassed for a fraction of the price. Ordered a pizza and after waiting 3 HOURS before trying to call the store and after waiting on the automated answering machine for 15mins I decided to drive down to the store myself to demand an answer and refund. When I get there I see the doors are locked and there is writing on the window talking about being short staff and whatever. Then tried to contact HQ but they (bot, no option to speak to a REAL PERSON) keep trying to tell me to take up with the store which is pretty much closed but accepting orders??
I never got my pizza and they charged my card for the full amount + delivery (what a joke). This is a 0/10 trash location and will be perusing further action within the upcoming week. VERY unprofessional and if you cant keep your location staff then close that location until you have the staff..
I should have gone with Papa Johns...
UPDATE: I decided to updated this review since it has gotten so many views. a few days later I made contact with Pizza Hut and was told I would receive credit for my purchase(note that I had to make contact and still received no apology. Before this I had already went to another Pizza Hut and showed them my order which they honored and fulfilled my order.
