Everytime I make the mistake of going to this bojangles I am reminded why I prefer driving to the one on capital instead. 9 times out of 10 the order I receive isn’t correct. Once they gave someone my order and we had to wait 40 minutes to get our order. Which they did rectify that situation nicely and gave us 2 free meal vouchers. But again tonight I pull into the drive thru, order what I want and repeat myself once (which is fine I understand it might be hard to hear). But when they took my order they didn’t ask what drink I wanted in the combo and automatically put me down for tea. So I thought that’s okay I’ll just ask them to change it at the window. I get to the window, the exchange is nice, I give the cashier my money and so forth. But as soon as they hand me the drink and I ask for it to be changed, it’s like all the customer service “niceness” evaporated. “You want to change the drink even though this one is already made?” Yes I didn’t order that drink, I wasn’t even asked what drink I want and I don’t even like tea. Luckily I like their fries even if they’re barely seasoned half the time (because I didn’t get a choice in that either). But jeezus, couldn’t even offer a fake half smile or your welcome as I thanked them twice for getting me a new drink and for handing me my food. I get it was 9pm and you close in an hour and maybe your gassed from your shift but it’s not that hard to at least pretend to have good customer service. I work retail myself, maybe not fast food, but I have to fake my customer service niceness all the time it’s not that hard. Finally done with this place rather drive to the one on capital and get my order...
Read moreI don’t normally review fast food places, but this particular location has always given me difficulties. Most recently when I went through the drive thru I was asked to pull forward. No biggie. I asked for two dipping sauces, one ranch and one honey mustard. The employee at the drive thru said they would be in the bag. An employee brings out my bag and I ask him if the sauces are in the bag. He stammered and said, I think so, I’m not sure, I can go ask my manager. Um, how about looking in the bag? He handed me the bag and walked back inside. I checked the bag, shocker - no sauces. I go inside to get them and the employee who brought me the bag saw me. I said the sauces weren’t in the bag. He kept walking and left me to ask another employee for them. She had difficulty understanding what I was asking for. This is not the first negative experience I have had at this location. Management needs to either get their employees trained better or hire new employees. Fast food employment is not rocket science - maybe management is the...
Read moreif this wasn’t the only bojangles near where I live, I would stop going here. I always order a side of mash potatoes with no gravy because I don’t eat pork and when I tell them I want no gravy they ignore me and give me one with gravy. This has happened 4 times now, the first time I noticed when they put the side of mash potatoes order on the screen in drive through, they didn’t include no gravy like I asked. I asked the woman “don’t forget the no gravy part” and she said she got it. Next thing you know mine had gravy in it. Two times after that they didn’t listen and I ended up not being able to eat the mash potatoes I paid for. The 4th time which was the other day I absolutely had enough. They put gravy in it and I came back in the drive through saying you messed up my order with the gravy and the lady turned quiet. Now I always have to check my order before I leave and I advise you all to do the same, maybe they will actually start listening to orders and getting them...
