Pullen Cafe — Restaurant in Raleigh

NOT ALLERGY FRIENDLY. Just a warning to other allergy families.

They don’t have ingredients of many of their offerings…no packaging or anything. Apparently their establishment size allows them to not provide this info. I will say they checked for packaging on multiple items, but kept turning up empty. So they did try and help, I’m just still shocked they didn’t have access to several ingredient lists (like hot dog buns and bread). The girl working the register clearly had no food allergy knowledge…she repeatedly just said things like “oh it has wheat and soy if I had to guess”. If the owners happen to see this, it’s a great learning opp for your employees. The entire ingredient list is what is imperative for some people, not just the top 8 disclaimer at the end. And a guessing game is just scary— eek.

Again, not faulting anyone. They aren’t breaking any rules apparently. This is strictly for those who might find it relevant to their situation.

Food offerings were great and the stuff coming out looked yummy! Just wish I knew what was in it so we could have eaten there! Hopefully they will have more information available with time. I’m sure we won’t be the last family to ask for...

The atmosphere and food are of good quality. However, the staff needs training in customer service. Shakira was rude and inconsiderate to our family. My sister and her husband invited my son and me to the park. She ordered nachos, burgers, popcorn, and chicken fingers. When we received our items it was noticed that there was no cheese with the chips for the nachos. I walked up to the counter to explain the situation to where Shakira says, "You didn't ask for cheese". I said doesn't cheese come with nachos. She said nope and if you need to order you will have to get back in line to pay and wait for your cheese. I asked if I could go ahead and pay to give it to our children so they can eat there food together and she rolls her eyes at me and continue to place other orders along with her coworker. The manager comes out and tells me I needed to pay but I could pick up the cheese at the other window. This behavior at a well known park is unacceptable and disgusting especially in the sight...

My family and I recently celebrated our daughter's birthday at Pullen Park and catered our food from Pullen Cafe, combined it was a phenomenal experience. Dave, facilitated everything prior to the party offering everything needed for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Dave was extremely generous with the food. The pizza was perfectly fresh baked, with a crispy crust. Each slice was perfectly balanced with toppings and cheese, leaving us craving for more. The Caesar salad was equally delicious. What truly sets Pullen Cafe apart, however, is the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our celebration was taken care of. In summary, our experience at Pullen Cafe surpassed all expectations. We highly recommend Pullen Cafe to anyone looking for great party food, smooth and easy transaction.
