I've had pizza from here before, and considered this place to be above average. This time I ordered a cheese pizza and some garlic knots. First impressions were good when I ordered a NY style pizza and it was the correct size as advertised. The garlic knots were a bit under-cooked; a bit doughy, but still good. Not unsafe or anything. When I bit into the pizza, I really enjoyed the cheese and the sauce. However, it was quickly ruined by the fact that the bottom of my pizza was overcooked (read: Burnt). The cheese and the sauce are the best parts of any pizza, but if the bread tastes awful, it will ruin the whole thing. Since leaving New York, I've had a lot of problems with the consistency of how pizza is made in every pizza restaurant I've been to. Unfortunately, Randy's Pizza is no exception. I'm very tired of having to gamble when I order pizza. You have the tools you need, and a decent-to-great recipe for pizza. If this is your livelihood, you should not be getting this wrong. This is either a training issue, or an apathy issue. Don't get me wrong, I've had plenty of bad pizza in NY. But insisting your pizza is as good as some of the pizza you can find there, while producing pizza marred with amateur mistakes, makes it very insulting to those who know better. The first pizza I had here was good enough that I wanted to order it again. Now I'm considering never bothering again. The pizza is not bad enough that I won't finish eating it in the coming days. I'll definitely be finishing the garlic knots, that's for sure. You might get lucky and have a really excellent pizza when you order one from Randy's Pizza, but be aware you might get food that didn't have the care it needed to taste good. Currently, I don't feel like gambling.

Service is certainly not at the top of priorities for Randy’s Pizza. Call to place order 5/30 and get put on hold for 25 mins. Ok, go place order via the antiquated website…to find out AFTER paying its 1hr 20 min wait. Call back to try and cancel order (had plans to get to, never imagining it’d take that long to get a NY style pizza. And if so, get a website that makes this known upfront!!) and they immediately place on hold again. Wait 20 mins no answer. Send someone else to get the pizza arrive right on time. No pizza! They say they had to start a new one, someone already picked up my order. So clearly they aren’t checking for proof of purchase before dispensing an order. Awesome. So in total waited 2 hours for a pizza I wasn’t even home to eat by the time it got there. What did in store workers do knowing they messed up? NOTHING. What have they done since I tried to privately get support for this terrible experience since submitting feedback Saturday (see photo)? NOTHING. this pizza is not even good enough to deal w this service. Will be taking business to one of the many other pizza shops in Raleigh going forward.

As someone that's been going here for over a year, this place is going downhill. Upon my arrival to pick up my online order, I was given the hot appetizers and was told that my pizza would be out soon. After waiting over an hour with still the appetizer in my hand which became cold, the rest of my order finally came out. I talked with I'm assuming the Manager about the wait and that my hot appetizer was cold, and I had it for over an hour before the pizza came out. Instead of offering the food be warmed up, new batch, or a refund. I was offered to stay another hour to wait for the hot appetizer to come out. And then my biggest mistake was not looking at the pizzas before I left the building. The photos attached are enough said. It's one thing to be so busy that you cannot reheat the food but another to blatantly give a customer the most embarrassing looking pizza ever. I will not recommend this place to anyone ever again, I love to shop local, but this was beyond unacceptable. Also, I paid over $40 for two personalized pizzas and mozzarella sticks when the quality was well under $20 with the experience included

Being from Ohio, we decided to try out Randy's Pizza, as it was the highest rated pizza place around our hotel. We ordered online through Google, which went through an app called Slice. We had never heard of it, but we placed the order through it for an hour or two prior to pick up.

When we arrived, they couldn't find my order at first. Once they did, only the pizza was ready, and not the fried raviolis. The girl, who was very nice to us, asked around and no one had made them yet. She said it would be a few minutes, which was no big deal. She then asked me to pay, which I told her we had already done so online. She then went on to talk poorly about "Slice", saying that it makes their items higher priced and that some details are more commonly missed by them if an order comes through Slice. We then decided to get a piece of oreo cake and red velvet cake while we waited for our food to get done.

Our raviolis finally got done, and we left. About 20 feet from the front door, we here the girl call our name, saying that they gave us the wrong order. We had to go back in and wait a couple more minutes while our raviolis were STILL not done. She offered us a cookie, but why would we want a cookie if we had just bought cakes? No offer for a discount or other compensation? We would not have taken it, as we are here for another 3 days and would not have eaten there again. It would of been a nice gesture, and "the thought that counts" would have been nice.

The food was.. okay? Nothing special. I think the cake was pretty good, and the marinara dipping sauce for the raviolis was good, but the pizza and raviolis themselves were just okay.

Overall, if we are ever in the area again, we would not go to Randy's Pizza unfortunately. Just a bad first experience, and disappointing since it seemed to have such...

I would not recommend this particular location. I would call her a young lady, but she didn't conduct herself as such. This is not an accusation but facts. She intentionally tampered with my food. She put the receipt to the food on top of my pizza. When I opened the box, the receipt was in the middle of the pizza. The cheese and grease were stuck to it. One of the sandwiches that I ordered was stapled to the bag purposefully. I opened the bag, and it was a staple inside the plate. She was upset because I had one request and lost it. She was so upset that she let my order sit on the counter without calling my name. She was also flipping her braids and touching her hair and still handling orders afterward. I saw her make a salad after touching her hair. She is unhinged. I have pictures that I'm going to send to the health department. Im also going to see if there is anything that I can do because she needs consequences for her actions. She definitely did this purposely. I never gave her a reason to behave in that manner. I never raised my voice or gave her attitude. She was totally out of line. It was also disgusting behind the counter. The floors were gross. I recorded her actions and have pictures of my food that appeared to be tampered with. How do a receipt get in the pizza box? How does a staple get inside the plate? How does a staple get through the top of the plate in the bag and on the end of the bread? I didn't trust it to consume it, but I kept it just in case...
