My meal was ...just OK. I got the Chicken Teriyaki. Some of the chicken pieces were a little bit tough. Overall, the Teriyaki did not have much flavor. The portion was generous, but it was overpriced compared to other places. It was nice that you could see the chicken being cooked. I got the steamed rice because the fried rice looked mediocre for the extra price. The service was efficient. $13.54 for the meal and a drink.

Worst customer service. We used to eat here when we lived in the area, the white sauce came with the meal then, there is a charge for it now. This guy was extremely rude! Instead of explaining that things had changed he said “just call the 1800 if you have a complaint, you don’t need to be eating the white sauce anyway”! I did call the 1800, only a voice mail Came on. No one has called back. Don’t buy form them.

the food wasn’t that bad. i got chicken and shrimp teriyaki since they were out of beef. it was pretty mediocre overall but wasn’t the worst thing. chicken and shrimp were cooked nicely. the fried rice was meh and nothing exciting. the service wasn’t the greatest. no real formal greeting. what do you want and here’s the total. also, $2 for a bottle of water? seems ridiculous they don’t have tap water.

My mother and I asked for 2 beef teriyakis with white rice and a side of dumplings. We wanted something warm, so I asked for 2 hot green teas. The attendant, however, said that I "had" to ask for a cold drink! I was a bit surprised that she assumed I wanted a combo, which I wasn't asking for, but I went along with it cause I was hungry! Next, I asked her if they had trays and she said no. I got my drinks and 2 teriyakis later on, but the cook said the dumplings weren't ready. So we had to wait for quite a while to get them. Anyway! I normally don't like to complain but I seriously think management at Sarku Japan should retrain their employees! First, attendants neither smile nor greet customers when they place orders at the counter. Attendants rush customers to order as if they were cattle! The napkins are hard to pull out of the dispensers. The worse part of it, though, is the food which it doesn't stand to Japanese standards! That is, the beef in the teriyaki was soggy and barely tasty. Same thing for the vegetables! To add insult to injury we paid $31.81 for a meal that, despite the fact we were tired after doing some shopping, was disappointing! I don't know if many people are just getting used to bad service and food but I believe that you should get for what you're paying for, especially when money is not an object! Thus, I think that Sarku Japan should at least have one Japanese manager running the show to keep the standards high because I suspect the employees have no idea about Japanese food or culture! Thanks and really hope that you do something...

This restaurant upset me to the fullest. I visited the store today to pick up my Uber eats pickup order. They asked for my name. I gave them my name and showed it on the app. After 10 minutes, oh we don’t see no order for you. As I’m starting to get highly frustrated. I showed the guy the app once more. He said oh I see you. Therefore, I selected confirm to complete the order in the app as they pretended to prepare my food. After another couple of minutes, the guy came back. Oh the food was already picked up and delivered to you. I said that’s not possible I provided no address and I selected pick up option. Well another driver took your food by mistake then “what”!?! You have to call Uber eats To please my son who was craving for this food. I paid again at the store, which took another 20 minutes to prepare. They had no sympathy for me and the difficulties at hand. I had a baby crying in the arms the entire time. Then they had a nerve to specifically count each miniature shrimp one by one before placing in the container. I never want to spend another dime at this place who shows no empathy, neither customer oriented, over priced for the portions given. If food is that scarce then close the business, you’re doing yourself a disservice for return customers. I wish I could leave zero stars, I’m so...

My husband and I realize his order is being made incorrectly, we show them the receipt. We wait for his to be made correctly, no big deal. I know that we paid for two containers of yum yum sauce because I read the receipt several times when trying to resolve the mistake. We take our food to the table, before even sitting down I see that we didn’t get our sauce so I go up and ask for them. The woman at the register needs to see my receipt before giving them to me. I see that it is still down at the end of the line where we resolved the first issue. I wait in line again, just to get to the receipt at the end of the counter. Then she says that there is just one sauce on the receipt and I don’t argue, I just take one because I’m frustrated and ready to eat. The sauce should have been handed to us when we got our drinks but they don’t remember if they did or didn’t give them to us, my food is barely warm from having to wait for my husbands order to come out correctly and then standing in line to get the receipt. I wasn't trying to get anything for free because we paid for 2. But why be so difficult? It’s a 2oz cup of watered down mayo...
