I want to start this review off by stating that I have sent a letter to the Hilton Executive team and they have responded to me. The resolution they offered was less than satisfactory and I feel obligated to review this hotel publicly since trying to resolve through other channels was unsuccessful. My experience started with a phone call to ask for some small accommodations to my reservation. I was immediately shut down by Lauren at the front desk. I called back and she refused to hand me off to a manager. When I arrived the next day, my digital key did not open the elevator. I went to the front desk and was having a pleasant experience with the front staff until they asked for my license to get room keys. It was Lauren again and she then got really mean to me once she knew who I was. I pointed out her “all of a sudden” change and asked for a manager. She again refused a manager but then said her manager was next to her. I later found out that this person wasn’t even part of hotel office management. She gave me my keys and the room was a complete disaster. Pictures are provided
It had hair all over the place, cracks in the walls, black mold, stains on the floor, and broken door handles. I was able to get a new room from Mona and she was an amazing manager. She actually offered me breakfast for my stay and I was feeling good about the stay. Well Lauren had other ideas and proceeded to mistreat me the rest of the stay undoing the work that Mona did to fix a situation. I would have changed properties but there was something happening in Raleigh that weekend and there were no rooms anywhere. We actually gave up our free breakfast because we feared Lauren and left as soon as we could. I would steer away from this property until they can gain control over their front desk staff and they can fix their rooms.

My husband surprised me with a birthday celebration in Raleigh, NC! This Hilton location was new and modern. When we arrived, I was a little upset to learn that my Hilton Honors points could not be added because my husband did not book on a Hilton hotel site. It was a surprise and he was trying to keep things under wrap, but he assumed the points could be added later. Also, we were supposed to have breakfast for 2 nights, but they didn't see it on the reservation. We spoke to Ms. Loran about everything and she was very apologetic about the situation. We got settled in and then headed out about an hour later. When we arrived back at the room later that evening, there was an envelope on the bed with a note attached that said check your fridge & freezer. There was a birthday card for me signed by Ms. Loran and the staff and inside the card were 4 tickets for my husband and I to eat breakfast during our stay + a ticket for a free appetizer at the bar/restaurant. Then my husband reminded me to check the fridge & freezer, where I found a giant slice of chocolate cake (so good) and some vanilla ice cream with fudge drizzled on top! Ms. Loran made my night with such a sweet gesture and I was very appreciative. đŸ„° I made sure to thank her the next day as we were heading out for more birthday festivities. That warm smile she gave me was priceless. There was a variety of choices for breakfast and everything was really tasty. We recommend this location to anyone in the Raleigh, NC area or visiting (like us); you can't go wrong with the service, cleanliness, location or food. Thanks again Ms. Loran and staff for your hospitality, we will be back!

Our experience with the Hilton Garden Inn at Crabtree Valley was outstanding in every way! We chose this location to host our wedding accommodations, and there are not enough words to describe how fantastic of a choice this was!

Let’s begin by talking about the hotel itself- it is incredible. It is a little bit of luxury tucked away in Raleigh. Upon walking in, you are engulfed in welcoming and warm lobby with a cozy fireplace and many places to sit and relax. There are delightful refreshments waiting to be enjoyed– warm cookies and water infused with fresh fruit. There is also a bar to the side that is perfect for those wanting to gather and enjoy a perfectly cold drink or a few tasty bites of food. The rooms are equally beautiful as well. They are decorated modern and luxurious, are amazingly clean, and the beds are so comfy you will never want to get out of them. The bathroom mirrors are a strange thing to talk about but gosh do they make you look flawless! We also loved how there are so many cozy places to gather within the hotel. There are outdoor areas beautifully lit with string lights and cozy fireplaces, (which is where we enjoyed a warm spring evening of our wedding weekend). There is a fantastic indoor pool area that would be great for adults and kids alike. We also saw a glimpse of a huge gym that would be a fitness enthusiasts’ dream! To add another layer of service, this hotel offered shuttles too. Our guests loved the fact that they didn’t have to drive to all the great restaurants and shops nearby. It allowed them to fully enjoy their time here. The entire hotel experience was so luxurious and was the perfect place for a get away.

However, despite the fact that the hotel is incredible, this is only part of what makes what makes it so special. The service is unbelievable! Each employee went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

I had the pleasure of working with the special events coordinator, Nicole. From our first conversation, she was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every way. (This was a big deal, because I called a couple other places in the beginning stages of research and was put on lists where someone would call me back in a few days – if they decided too. It felt very corporate driven). She was able to answer all of my questions immediately. She helped us to set up special room rates, breakfast packages, special room requirements and sent reminders on important dates or other things we needed to remember. She even helped to coordinate the placement of special gift bags in each of our guests rooms upon check in – as a warm welcoming surprise for our out of town visitors.

There was also another sales manager that needs to be mentioned - a gentleman named Arthur. He gave us a grand tour of the hotel before we decided to book our wedding accommodations here. He was so professional and extremely personable, and we walked out knowing this would be the perfect place to stay. Between Arthur and Nicole (and I am sure there were many others involved behind the scenes), we felt so incredibly special and valued as a customer at this hotel. Our guests felt the same way, and even asked us how long we had been friends with the hotel staff (assuming such kindness and generosity only came from longtime friends of ours)! They provided such special touches to throughout this weekend – details that were completely surprising, special, personal and heartfelt. We couldn’t believe the level of care they took in making us and our loved ones feel so incredible special.

This hotel is ranked as the number one Hilton Garden Inn in the world as of 2017. I can certainly see why! If and when you chose to stay here for a night away or for your special event, you will not be disappointed. You will feel valued, pampered, and relaxed from the time you arrive to the time you have to say your goodbyes to this wonderful establishment.

Thank you to all of YOU who made this a memorable and special trip for us! We will certainly be coming back for a local stay-cation on a...

At the end of July we booked a 1KNG 2DBL 2BDRM STE NONSMK room for 8/9. We paid in full in advance. Upon arrival, we were told our room was no longer available due to it flooding. Matthew, front desk manager, said he was glad we were here, that he had been waiting for us and explained what happened. Then without prompt, rebooked two king rooms side by side. We didn’t want to go forward with this, so Matthew helped us “cancel” this new stay. We asked how we get a refund for the $375 we had paid for. He advised us to call Hiltons Advance Purchase line and speak with them about getting a paper check refund. We did express our frustration that there was no contact to us prior to arriving at the hotel. He switched up his original sorry and said he talked to us that morning on the phone. We knew this was not true and asked what number he called. The number on our Hilton Honors account was old and no longer ours(we took responsibility for not having an updated phone number on our account and since updated this information). He was adamant he spoke to us. I found this to be very odd because again when we got there he seemed relieved to try to explain/help get our room straight. Our group left and found another hotel to stay at. In the meantime, we left message for both Matthew and another hotel manager to contact us back regarding the situation and refund because Hilton Advance says they already paid the hotel and we could only received a refund directly from the hotel. As of today, Hilton is working on refunding us after the hotel (a note read to me on the case) is refusing to refund us. The latest representative was shocked to hear we never made it to our rooms based and the hotel possibly mislead Hilton about what happened with our stay. The hotel overall looked nice but not sure I would trust booking one of their highly sought after rooms because it may no longer be available due...

This was the absolute worse experience I’ve ever had with a hotel, and I travel ALOT! I paid before checking in through booking.com. The front desk said they didn’t show where I paid. After calling booking and them proving I had already paid. Waiting 2 hours in and out the car with 3 kids. The rude receptionist never once offered us to wait in the pool area, use the bathroom anything. They guy that was on the phone with me from booking continuesly calling the front desk and she kept hanging up on him, not wanting to help me at all. I remind you I drove 2 hours to get there and waited over 2 hours. After 2 hours she calls her manager and says I can check in so we went to our room. Woke up the next morning the hotel charged my card! No authorization or anything. Saying they still didn’t show proof where I had paid even after I showed them my bank account and everything! The same problem was happening with someone who booked through a different third party. They said the hotels system needed to be updated on their end. They showed no sympathy. She barely apologized! The manager calls me the next morning not even to give me my money back but making me wait until they decide to figure out what happened! It should’ve been resolved while I was there and after the rude service I received I should’ve got my money back that I actually paid plus the money I paid that wasn’t authorized! They don’t have any good customer service what so ever!!! This was the worst day ever, ruined my kids day after sitting in the car for hours! I shouldn’t have even went in the room, I should’ve went home! I will never go back. The hotel is nice but I value customer service! And none of this was my fault. And I remind you the other family that went through this, was helped before me and they arrived after me and not only that, their family got to play in the pool while...
