This particular Starbucks has made my Chai perfectly for three years, since I moved nearby. I'm one of those who has a complicated order and most Starbucks get it wrong once in a while. Well, today, my birthday, they got it wrong. So wrong. My order is 9 pumps, no foam, no water. Seems simple, right? Yeah, no. Usually the mistake is that I get lots of foam but non-fat milk. Today I got lots of foam, lots of foam. So I asked for the guy to remove the foam before I even tasted it. He took it but made another online order before making mine. Then I got my drink and… ,. skim milk, water, and weak chai. It was like drinking warm milk. Just no. So I asked a young woman there to make me a new one and she also made an online order first! And when I finally got my drink and tasted it, it was just okay. Not quite bland but not spicy like it usually is. But at this point I just wanted to get out of there having waited far too long so I took it and left figuring I would microwave it and add some spices when I got home. I did get a Happy Birthday as I was walking out, which was nice. What is most disappointing is that this Saturday crew needs some training on customer service. There were only a few online orders waiting and a customer standing there in person should take precedence, especially if they got the order wrong. This was not the birthday drink I had...
Read moreI love to have a great experience at a Starbucks but this particular visit was not great. I ordered a grande caramel cappuccino bone dry. This is what other Starbucks barista’s have instructed me to order to get the driest cappuccino possible. The gentleman who rang me up repeated it back to me correctly but instead of writing bone dry in the description he put quick extra dry therefore it did not come out correctly, additionally even though he repeated back caramel cappuccino there was no Caramel in it. I can deal with the fact that it’s not as dry as I would like, but not the missing flavor. For $5 and and excessively long wait time (as well as skipping over my drink to make others that stood in line behind me), I expect my drinks to be correct: Will go to a different location in the future to avoid this. Years ago I worked at one of the busiest Starbucks in the country, so I understand how stressful it can be. I recommend additional training for those that don’t understand what specific term may mean versus the automated choices you can just click when someone orders a coffee (like extra dry versus typing...
Read morePlease tell me how to order a plain machiatto and actually recieve that and not a whole cup of bland hot milk. Ive asked for a plain machiatto they look at me confused, then i figured out to say no vanilla syrup and no caramel drizzle and they understand that but i dont know how to get a REAL machiatto. They keep charging me for machiattos and INSISTING its an upside down latte. I enjoy the flavour of coffee, i dont want a latte. I tell them when they make an upside down latte it tastes diff to me than a machiatto. A machiatto is not all milk. Ive wasted so much money on hot cups of MILK. Its gross. I want coffee. I pay for price of coffee not price of hot milk. I am reviewing in order to get someone to explain to me how to order a machiatto with nothing in it so that i can actually recieve a true machiatto plain that i can taste a coffee in it. I want more coffee flavour and less milk, im getting entire cup hot milk and MAYBE a splash of coffee??? Yuck. Still 4 stars bc they are good store, good people etc. I just want a true machiatto or something comparable...
