I visited this location on Friday 1.24.20 @6:30am. My mornings tend to be sans coffee. Starbucks has always been an outstandingly joyous experience. Their A-1 quality beans make the sun shine bright through the stormy days. Sadly enough, I had not seen the sun for a number of seemingly never ending days. My luck was about to change. A dreary January morning in the 'burbs of North Raleigh I found myself feeling down, drained and just plain tired. All the sweet tea and biscuits in the world couldn't change my mood. That was before, before my lips touched the sweet coconut milk foamy Love. Since then my life has changed in ways I find hard to articulate. Nirvana, Enlightenment, Labradoodles, Contentment. Star dust swirling through the contemporary decorated shop. I realized Ive changed and now have my armour, higher power and ability to live out my best life. On the rare occasions I allow myself a small treat from Seatles most successful enterprise. I live dangerous; there are no rules here. (Except for the actual rules & laws, we've agreed to abide to sustain our lifestyle's) I try a seasonal or LTO item. This day brought me the "New" Coconut Milk Latte. The drink is hot, superbly foamy. The foam has a touch of sweetness to it (is it honey?) Beneath the heavenly foam sits Starbuck's famous "Blonde Roast" a bit nutty slightly salty, spiked with just the right amount of Love, Care and Caffeine. I'll pause here to assure you(the reader) I am just a regular customer. Carpenter by day and Ride share driver by night. Some how finding that ends meet each month. I will always know I've found inner peace in the chaos that is our era. And strangely enough it came from a large corporation serving up the world's best coffees. Most importantly we have to recognize the staff here who break their backs to serve our community. One name in particular stands out for me; Grace the Super-Starista. Without Her expertise and care I may still be walking the deserts; blindingly seeking the land of milk and honey. Not realizing it's been on every street corner for the last 20+ years.
TLDR: The new coconut milk Latte from Starbucks is out of this world. Grand SHOUT-OUT to the awesome Barista Grace holding it down on Strickland and Six Forks. Lastly I'd like to award this experience in excellence with the elusive and most sought after 14/10. ✌🏿💜😋

Read moreI went through the drive thru at 9441 Strickland Rd Raleigh at a little after noon Saturday 4/19/25. Got a Venti White Mocha (Hot) coffee. When the young man at the window handed it to me, he was careful to do it from the bottom of the cup, I took it the same way and put it in my cup holder. When I was on Strickland Rd, I grabbed the cup from the middle of the cup to take a drink, the top then popped off, and coffee went everywhere. All over me and the inside of my car. I pulled over to the 1st stop I could find, trying not to let the coffee burn me in the meantime. Luckily, I was not burned, but now my clothes and interior of my car were covered with 1/2 a cup of hot coffee. I called that Starbucks to report what happened and the manager says they are aware of the problems with the cups and lids, that it is an ongoing issue. She apologized extensively. I asked why they didn't tell me when I ordered it, she had no answer. I asked why they let that dangerous situation go out their drive thru window, she had no answer. She offered another free coffee, I said why, so I can get dumped on again by this same ongoing cup / lid issue. It will be a long time before I ever go back to a...
Read moreI go to this Starbucks every single day for a year at least. And im not sure what is going on if they have someone lazy or what. But at least 2 to 4 times a week my drink is made with not enough flavoring. It had gotten to the point I started asking for 2 extra pumps, but still 2 to 4 times a week there's no flavoring.... I'm really baffled. When I'm paying 6$ for a coffee everyday the least you can do is make my coffee right. The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 Stars is because some of the employees are amazing. They make sure to say hi everytime they see me no matter what they are doing. But I'm done going here, I got mad about it once and took it out on one of the nicer employees and I felt horrible... so instead of asking again and getting upset ill just go somewhere else. Its not worth it. But I think the supervisor/management needs to take a look at the employees because someone is being extreamly lazy and I know they know because I've brought my drink back in for a redo numerous times. So it's not them not knowing its them not caring it and that's the worst kind of...
