The Bend Bar — Restaurant in Raleigh

What was once a row of single family homes along this dark "Bend" in Morgan street has been transformed into a beautiful neighborhood bar. The Bend Bar effortlessly blends into its surroundings and feels like it belongs here as much as any of the old trees lining the street.

This bar truly gives to its community, it's a place where you will find many of the local residents enjoying a drink and feels more like a gathering space than just a drinking spot. Inside and out, this sleek bar is where sophistication meets minimalism, it's stylish without being pretentious, elegant but never cold.

What could you expect for a drink? I would say this bar needs to step up its game—right now, their drinks are about as bold as a bedtime...

The Bend Bar is exactly what you want in a neighborhood spot - minus the second hand baby sitting duties for random kids that parents aren’t watching. The curved bar setup makes for a really social experience, and the outdoor space is perfect for a laid-back evening. Their tap list is well-curated with local craft options, and the cocktails are creative without being overcomplicated. Whether you’re looking for a casual drink with friends or a new regular hangout, this place is a great addition to Raleigh’s bar scene. Will definitely be back!

They have a great mix of hangout spaces, from a large lawn to a spacious deck to cozy couches or the rounded bar inside. As others have said, their draft list is somewhat short, and their cocktails are simple, but I hope they will expand and branch out as they become more established. My biggest disappointment was the food quality/portion size for the price point; I think I’ll try just apps and drinks next time! Service was super fast on...
