TLC Marco's Pizza is not your ordinary Italian eatery. It is a celebration of rich Italian traditions with a twist of modern food innovation, located conveniently in the heart of the city. An exquisite family-owned restaurant, it combines the casual charm of a pizza joint with the sophistication of fine dining.
The first thing that hits you when you step into TLC Marco's is the warm and inviting ambiance. Rustic decor and soft lighting set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The staff is always cordial, attentive, and they are genuinely passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience, a testament to the love and care that the "TLC" in their name represents.
Now, let's get to the star attractions: the food. TLC Marco's Pizza offers an array of Italian dishes, but the shining stars are undoubtedly their pizza and wings. The pizza is an authentic culinary delight, a masterful blend of traditional Italian flavors and innovation. The crust, a perfect balance of crispy and chewy, provides a great platform for the bold flavors on top. Fresh, high-quality ingredients are clearly used, the mozzarella is creamy, the tomato sauce zesty, and the toppings are plentiful and well-seasoned. Each slice of pizza is a testament to the culinary prowess of the chefs.
And let's not forget the wings. Oh, the wings! They are a revelation. Succulent, juicy, and packed full of flavor, they're easily some of the best you'll find in town. The wings come with a variety of sauces that cater to all taste buds. Whether you prefer them spicy, tangy, or somewhere in between, you'll be well catered to. The meat falls off the bone, indicating its perfect preparation, and the portion sizes are generous, ensuring you leave the table satisfied.
Despite the praises, I could deduct one star due to the occasional delays during peak hours, which can slightly mar the otherwise great experience. This, however, is a small price to pay for the overall high quality of food and service.
In summary, TLC Marco's Pizza is a gem that serves up more than just pizza and wings. It offers a delightful dining experience that brings together a beautiful ambiance, excellent service, and most importantly, outstanding Italian cuisine. Whether you're a pizza aficionado, a wing enthusiast, or someone looking to explore Italian-ish cuisine, TLC Marco's Pizza should be on...
Read moreI am not normally one to roast a place online but I ordered delivery from here for the first time ever tonight and have to say I am extremely dissatisfied.
The ETA of my food was over 2 hours. It's a college town, it's a pizza place; believe me, I get it. That is not an issue as I work all night anyway with studios from all over the time zone spectrum. They estimated the delivery to be around 1am which was great because that lined up with when I would get a break from my meetings. The problem is that by the time I got a second to look at my phone, at 1am, the food had been sitting outside since about 11:30pm.
I would appreciate it if the next time I order from here (if there is a next time) the delivery guy actually knocks on my door when the food is delivered. I thought that was the point of leaving the "Leave my food at my front door" box unchecked. The porch of my duplex has an issue with ants and other insects so I always make sure to request that food is not just left there.
The good news is that I don't think any ants or other insects got into it; the bad news is that it looked like something else got to the food before I did. The bags were knocked over and clearly didn't look like the picture the guy sent me an hour and a half prior. The box of boneless wings had spilled all of the sauce into the bag it was in so dealing with that was fun.
Moving on to the generic food criticism part of the review. Granted, at this point everything was cold; you can still tell when an order of fries were not cooked long enough as some of them were still borderline frozen. At least the burnt bread and chicken from the chicken cheesesteak seemed to compensate for it.
Overall I am clearly disappointed with my first experience with San Marcos. I expect better from a pizza place in a...
Read moreI am from another state over 12 hours away, stopped at TLC Marcos Pizza Wings and Grill by chance to get a late night meal. I must say I am SHOCKED by the 5 start reviews. The "boy" behind the counter was rude, for no specific reason, the other people with me went to sit in the car because they didn't want to respond to his attitude. I was the only one in there but my order took FOREVER!!! Due to the fact that the order took so long I had the opportunity to look at the place (not the cleanest) Are there food/eatery inspectors in Raleigh? The wings were dry, forget the fries (horrible) We ordered onion rings which were the only thing one person liked. I could only eat one wing because the way the restaurant (if you can call it a restaurant) looked turned me off, but I was hungry after a long drive. I specifically held the receipt so that I could look up this place and write a review. (That should tell you something) There will always be people who like and dislike things, but if I could shut this place down I would. Pay attention to the...
