Went to Tony's website to order pizza for delivery. When starting the order I was greeted with a message stating that deliveries are handled by Door Dash, but to contact the store with any issues. I try to avoid Door Dash when I can, but whatever, seems like most places are handling delivery this way. Ordered a pizza and garlic cheese strips. Door Dasher shows up with only the pizza. I mention that there should be cheese strips with the order too. Dasher says this is all they had for the order at the store. Okay, annoying but whatever, I'll call the store like the website said to do. Call the store and explain the situation, and the conversation went similar to as follows. "Oh, the Door Dasher must have stole them...." "Um....okay....so are you going to refund me for the cheese strips?" "You need to contact Door Dash for a refund." "I didn't order through Door Dash. I ordered from your website, and it explicitly says to contact you with issues." "Ummm....you need to contact Door Dash." At this point I can hear the manager in the background telling the young man that answered the phone to tell me to contact Door Dash. I ask to talk to the manager. He tells me the same thing. Driver probably stole them and I need to contact Door Dash. I ask how I am supposed to do that when I don't have a Door Dash order number or any correspondence with Door Dash at all regarding this order. No answer. I explain again that I ordered directly from Tony's and not Door Dash, and it very explicitly says to contact Tony's and NOT Door Dash with issues. Manager refuses to give me a refund saying that it is all through Door Dash. He took my name and phone number and said he would do what he could from his end. It was very clear to me that he was just trying to get me off the phone. It has now been 5 business days and I have not been refunded for the cheese strips. Tony's clearly has no interest in taking responsibility for the issues that can accompany using a 3rd party to deliver, or trying to correct an extremely easy to solve issue. I try to order from local restaurants directly when I can since I have always heard that that is better for the restaurant than using Door Dash. Tony's has encourged me to do the opposite. If I would have ordered through Door Dash, I would have easily gotten my money back. Anyway pizza was okay at best. Can't comment on the cheese strips. Maybe those are the show stoppers.

I just visited this location look how my pizza looks on top of that I agree I made a mistake with my order I offered to pay extra to get this pizza fixed the way I wanted it manager told me I would have to pay full price for another pizza I also asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t get a refund under what policy you don’t offer refunds I spent 60 dollars with you guys in this is how you treat your paying customers you don’t offer to fix the problem

The pizza shop is located right behind carmax on Glenwood ave. The pizza is ok better when warm or reheat when eating for better taste. Had a simple medium cheese pizza ordered. It’s typical NY style pizza that’s foldable with some oil. It’s a mom pop shop and way better than the box square franchise pizza or that cardboard paper thin served at Randy’s pizza. Would come again and try the other things on the menu besides pizza.

I gave one star, but not worth it, don’t take a chance in this restaurant it’s not pizza, we got pizza before and thought we would celebrate my daughter getting her license, had friends over to do this, raving about this pizza, unfortunately it was horrible, tasteless, dry, hard crust pizza, spent over $60, I called and he said never had this happen, which he lied cause the reviews say otherwise. I called and all he offered was to make more pizza, I told the owner, my husband picked up both large pizzas after work, and we live 35 miles south, I asked for him to credit my account since we could not eat this, he said was not going to do that, because of food costs, and I explained his pizza was un eatable, he needs to make good on this, asked he would send a coupon for a do over, but never did, almost 2 weeks later I called, again he refused, advised him I would have his funds reversed from my checking, he hung up, this is not good business, if you make a mistake, make good on it, THIS...

Is there an option for zero stars. This place makes horrible food, that is absurdly overpriced. Dry pizza missing large sections of cheese and toppings mixed with a clerk who has the audacity to ask for a tip on a carry out order. She asked for the tip after seeing how sticker shocked I was and charged me $2.50 to not put sauce on a pizza. Claims it’s a special pizza because they had to custom make it. All handmade pizzas are custom. Unless it comes out of a freezer. Was charged $54.37 for a medium 2 topping pizza and a large 2 topping pizza. Still can’t believe they charged extra for no sauce on one pizza and then asked why I didn’t tip. Side note, the clerk was almost inaudible with her very thick Eastern European accent. The owner stared me in the face and surprised when I couldn’t understand her multiple times. Will never go here again. I would never wish this food...
