I've been a loyal customer at Cava for two years now, ever since this location opened. I’ve spent at least $2,000 here and have always loved the food and service. However, my recent visit left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
I came in with my friends, and we each got in line to order. My friend, who was ahead of me, asked for chicken, rice, and some dips. When he got to the vegetables, he asked for extra of a few items. Usually, you can get as many vegetables as you want, but the server told him there would be an extra charge for more scoops. This was a first for us, as we've never encountered this before. He ended up with a half-full plate for $15, which seemed unfair.
When it was my turn, I encountered the same issue. I explained that I’ve been a regular customer and never experienced this. The server asked the manager, who confirmed that customers are allowed unlimited vegetables per bowl, as stated on their website. Despite this, the server gave me attitude and constant side eyes while preparing my bowl, whispering to her coworker, which felt very disrespectful.
To top it off, when I got to checkout, she didn't give me a cover for my bowl and rolled it to the register as if she was angry. This isn't the first time I’ve had an issue with this particular employee, and it’s becoming unacceptable.

Update 2/16/24 - I have to update my rating from 5 stars to 2. When this place first opened, it was amazing. Now they cannot get an order correct on the first try, EVER. If I'm picking up for my office, I always have to check the orders and there is always something missing, even when the order is printed right on the salad. If someone else is picking up our order for us, I always have to come back to have them fix something. We are not paying $15-20 per meal to have ingredients or dressings missing. Every time we come back in to get an order fixed, the employees act like they're surprised but it happens ALL THE TIME NOW. We used to be regular customers but will not be ordering from here anymore due to the frustration with the staff.
Update 7/1/25 I ordered here twice this past week, to give it another chance - they messed up the order both times. This is not a cheap salad option, most salads are almost $20 - the chosen ingredients are literally printed out on the salad itself, and it is still always wrong. Maybe they were all having a bad day and received so much attitude when I would ask a question. I don't know what they are going through. I don't judge. The woman who made my lunch didn't understand me well at all, and I got overcharged for extra meat that I didn't even eat sincIe it was spicy. If I'm expecting spicy, that's fine, but I asked for regular chicken... twice. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and had my 2 year old with me and didn't taste my food until I arrived home.
