I recently had the misfortune of ordering from Brooklynz Pizza in Rancho, and the entire experience left me utterly disgusted and furious. To say that my encounter with this establishment was a complete nightmare would be an understatement.
Upon receiving my pizza, I was immediately taken aback by the unappetizing sight of a long, ghastly hair embedded within the cheesy goodness. Shocked and disgusted, I immediately called Brooklynz Pizza to report this repulsive discovery and request a resolution.
Unfortunately, the so-called "manager" on site was an absolute joke. Not only did he adamantly deny being the manager, but he also had the audacity to shrug off my concerns. He callously suggested that I should drive all the way back to the establishment if I wanted a replacement pizza. Seriously? As if the mere thought of consuming their contaminated food wasn't repulsive enough, they expected me to endure another inconvenient trip just to rectify their mistake.
Promising to pass my number along to the actual manager the next day, this disinterested employee failed to deliver on that front as well. Incredibly, when I took the initiative to contact the establishment myself, hoping to explain the situation, the manager's response was nothing short of outrageous.
The manager, who apparently possesses zero understanding of basic customer service, greeted me with verbal abuse and threats. Instead of accepting responsibility for their hair-infested pizza and acknowledging the harm it could do to their reputation, they had the audacity to intimidate me. How dare they imply that I was slandering their business when it was their own negligence that led to this revolting incident?
I will never set foot in Brooklynz Pizza again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. The appalling lack of customer service and complete disregard for the quality of their products speak volumes about the company's ethics and professionalism. It's a shame that such a vital aspect of running a business, namely taking responsibility for one's actions, seems to elude the entire management team at Brooklynz Pizza.
Save yourself the stomach-turning experience and avoid Brooklynz Pizza at all costs. They have proven themselves to be utterly incompetent, disrespectful, and completely indifferent to the well-being of their customers. A hair in a pizza should be met with immediate remorse and a sincere apology, not threats and denial. Spare yourself the ordeal and find a pizza joint that values both hygiene and customer...
Read moreA New Yorker living in California, always seeking a great Pie (Pizza), Jewish Pastrami, and Chinese food. I will not compare it to NY as the they say "Its the water that makes the pie great!"
I had a friend refer me to this place so I gave it shot. I entered the place and the aroma of pie hit your nose, brought me back home a bit. I spoke with the person and believe he might of been the owner, but definitely showed he cared about what he makes! Told the back story or how they started in NY and moved out here and open another. I definitely enjoyed it, let alone I came here a 2nd time the same week with my Daughter. You can definitely taste the fresh ingredients, even the crust is good (My daughter loved it). They actually have Oregano, which is rare for here! One thing is for sure, any place that does not have this is no true Pizzeria!
I'll say this for sure if you just want just a Slice maybe Two, boom you are in luck! Hard to come by as most places you would need to get an entire pie, then be let down sometimes! I'll definitely come her from time to time, as its hard to come by with fresh ingredients and people who care about what they make!
Update* It's been about a year since I had their slice and the slices with toppings are about 1/3 of what they used to have. I counted 3 pepperoni on what they used to put 8 just about. Can I recommend this place, no hopefully they go back to how they used to when I first had...
Read moreI really thought we found a gem. But it didn't turn out that way. I ordered a pie online and paid for it. When I showed up, they said there was no record of me ordering anything. They asked me to show them my phone but I left it at home and had to drive back to get it. Before I left, I ordered some buffalo wings and came back about 20 minutes later with my phone. I showed them how my bank account had paid for the pizza but they wanted to see the app. I told them I didn't order through the app, it was through their website. Finally they agreed to give it to me. They gave me one that was on top of the oven. When I asked for the buffalo wings I had ordered earlier, it turns out they didn't place the order so I had to wait about 15 more minutes for the food. By the time I got home, the pizza was cold and once my wife took one look at the buffalo wings, she knew there was something wrong with them. She took one bite and spit it out. The chicken was rotten. I almost forgot to mention. They automatically charged me a 5 dollar tip for the pizza I ordered online. So I paid close to $50.00 for rotten buffalo wings and cold pizza. I will never go back there again. There was one good thing about this place. Two boys went in and didn't have enough money for their meal so the gentleman who took their order covered what was missing. That shows something...too bad it's not enough to make me go back or dissuade me from writing...
