Went here to get a latte and have a nice study session, and it was fine until I needed to use the restroom. Both the restroom doors were locked with signs saying "ask a barista for a restroom key". So I went back and saw a woman who looked like a manager and asked her if I would be able to get a restroom key. She was talking to some friends or whatever and seemed bothered by my question and just said "They're out of order." I saw another couple of customers needing to use the restroom but being told the same thing. This makes no sense as there were two restrooms, and there's no way both of them are out of order. If even one of them was, the manager would've sounded more genuine or at least apologetic. She just seemed annoyed.
I sat down and I was baffled by this for a good ten minutes wondering what I was suppossed to do. Isn't this place supposed to be somewhere to sit down and study or meet with people and have a coffee? How are you going to not allow customers to use the restroom? I really needed to use the restroom, so I then asked a barista if there's any way I could use it, but he just said "I'll ask the manager" and came back and told me they're "out of order" and that I could go across the street to K-Towne 88 and use their restroom. I guess the Coffee Bean manager really hates letting customers use the restroom here.
It's such a shame that the drink I had was decent but the experience at The Coffee Bean was so egregious that I would never return to, support, or recommend this...

Been going here for over a year now, 2 - 4 times a week at different times of the morning / day / night. These guys are always happy and thoughtful. In getting 100+ drinks from this location, I only had one issue- it was a fluke thing, manager fixed it right away. Awesome! I usually have the same order in the mornings, having to order my large cup of water at the registers 'cause the app doesn't offer it, sometimes they'll have my water sitting next to my mobile order so when I come in all I have to do is pay and not wait around for the water. Never asked them to do that, they just started doing it one day. Very thoughtful of them!
Reading the negative reviews for this location, they're are a little ridiculous. People have no idea what could cause a coffee shop to have an out of order restroom. Plumbing issues, pipe burst, a customer vandalizing it and it needing cleaned up, all of which cannot be fixed that day because of work orders and paperwork. Leaving a bad review for a restroom not working is over-kill. Seems like people now days get bent out of shape and instead of being an adult and bringing the issue up to a manager, instead they see it fit to leave a bad review. At least give the company a chance to fix the problem. This location doesn't deserve that type of...

But this location has a couple MAJOR issues. Issues that make me question why I keep coming back.
Number one is the restroom. Seriously how can a drink place, doing this much business every day, so frequently have both restrooms out of order? In fact, they donāt even let customers use one of them anymore at all. So now we are down to one and it is a 50/50 chance itās out of order. Itās really ridiculous. Get it fixed! Hire a plumber or something and get them both in good working condition. This has been the case for YEARS. Itās shameful.
The second issue is the manager. Mr. Lee is awful to his employees and treats them very poorly. He is not afraid to act out in the presence of customers and lash out unnecessarily at his staff either. Itās very inappropriate and uncomfortable. No wonder there is such a big turnaround of employees at this location. The manager is very unpleasant. I have dealt with him personally once and he was very rude and dismissive to a very simple question even though I did not argue with him at all.
