I love the store items but my sister recently had a bad experience here for the first time she been to this store many times and she went with my daughter's and for what happen to her the manager and employees dont want any customer to make any mess on the store at all like they dont want to do there job they expect the same customer to put their items back where they belong if you dont the whole employee store is stalking you till the point they make you feel uncomfortable this is not proffessional the idea to go shopping is to enjoy it and buy the items you need and if anyone needs help be helpful to customers but obviously the manager and employees are very mean rude disrespectful and they only care you dont leave a mess if you do they treat you very very bad till they point they kick you out i mean my sister didnt hurt anyone or disrespected anyone she was trying to figure out what items she needed and is hard to go shopping when you with kids and shopping shouldn't be that bad but if the whole employee store is behind your back because you didn't place the items back where they suppose to be that's not wrong is the employees to clean and organize that's why they there to work and take care the store n cleaned I been a worker and been customers service I have never made any client feel uncomfortable in any way my duty and goal is to to help clients find their items make them feel welcome so they come back to the store etc and only if i see someone suspicious of stealing etc but my sister don't do any of those things.And yet she was treated bad so I use to live Hobby Lobby now I dont I'm very upset they don't have good people skills or the whole staff is lazy and they don't want to clean up the mess then what they where hired for????? To make customers feel uncomfortable ??!! Read moreMy personal experience at this location was by far the most uncomfortable ever. While the store itself and its products are very nice, their daytime staff presents low standard customer service. One of the manager's, Laura, has the worst people skills I have ever witnessed. Long story short, because they saw me returning items on shelves they didn't belong to the staff started stalking me at the store. Every isle I walked through, an employee would show up and not leave, pretending to arrange things and giving me dirty looks. They accused my nieces of tearing a bag open and saying they saw her do it when I was there the entire time and didn't see her do it. They gossiped and complained about me in front of me and out loud. When I spoke to the manager Laura (who was also stalking me)she cut me off before I could explain why I asked to speak to her. The entire conversation consisted of her interrupting me and telling me that I should not be leaving things in places where they don't go and that they didn't want customers there who left stuff around. In my defense, the store is big. I did return some items where they belonged, I also gave some back to an employee. The rest I emptied out to make space for new items after changing my mind. In the end the manager literally said to me "I don't care about your uncomfortable shopping experience here, I just care that you don't leave things around." For goodness sake it's a store! Unbelievable! Customers constantly move things around and I did my best to not make a mess, shopping with kids and and all. It's very dissapointing that this is their lead. She sort of scolded me like a mother does a kid. Never listened to me, aggressive and not once did someone ask if I needed help finding something. No wonder the staff behaved that way. Read moreToday, 7/20/19 at 3:43pm (time stamped on my receipt), I visited Hobby Lobby Rancho Cucamonga location to purchase a frame, two wooden magnets and a small notepad. I was waiting in line and when I walked up to the cash register and placed my items on the counter, the cashier (named JENNA) used her right had to reach her butt crack to scratch, and immediately after that, she used her left hand and scratched her vagina. I was completely taken back and blindsided by that behavior. She continued to ring up my items and then when I paid for them, she just pushed them towards me without giving me a bag, let alone using tissue paper to wrap my frame with it. I asked her if I could have a bag and if she could wrap my frame. She said yes and then used ONE SINGLE sheet of paper to half way wrap my frame because the frame was slightly bigger than the paper. Then she proceeded to just DROP my small items into the bag causing a loud noise that made me think that she could have broken my items.
I am not one to complain but after I left the store I decided to call and let the manager know about my experience. I called but unfortunately the manager was not in. However, I let the person that answered the phone know (JEANNETTE) about what just happened.
I love Hobby Lobby, they got wonderful items but the service I experienced today was unacceptable, unprofessional, and just plain rude and disgusting.
