Read moreMy family's recent experience at Chuck E. Cheese in Rancho Cucamonga was a rollercoaster of emotions, marked by moments of exceptional service amidst chaos. The party began in a frenzy, seemingly unorganized, but amidst this, Emily, an employee there, shone brightly. Despite appearing understaffed, Emily’s dedication to ensuring a special birthday for my son was nothing short of remarkable. Her efforts alone brought a spark of joy to our celebration, and for that, she deserves immense praise.
However, the order process turned our experience sour. As the only adult ordering alcohol, I was perplexed to find discrepancies in our bill, where it erroneously stated I ordered four beers instead of one. This error led to a distressing encounter with another employee, Leslie. Despite our attempts to clarify the mistake, the situation escalated unnecessarily, resulting in a heated argument. The altercation with Leslie, in front of other customers and, more importantly, during my child’s birthday, was disheartening. It was a time I should have been cherishing moments with my son, not embroiled in a dispute.
While I commend Dominique for her professionalism in handling the situation and rectifying the billing error, the overall experience was marred by this incident. I had hoped for a memorable and joyous celebration for my son, having saved and worked overtime for this event. It's disheartening to witness a single negative interaction overshadowing the positive efforts of employees like Emily and Dominique.
In conclusion, while there were aspects of our visit that were commendable, thanks to the dedication of some staff members, the overall experience was significantly affected by organizational issues and the unfortunate incident with Leslie. It’s my sincere hope that this feedback will prompt constructive changes, ensuring future celebrations at Chuck E. Cheese are joyful and seamless for...
Read moreOn Sunday January 7, 2024, around 4pm my family & I visit your establishment for my nephews birthday party , our hostess Emily did a great job on hosting and providing excellent customer service however, once our bill came, my sister in law noticed an additional charge that we did not make of 3 beers. This is where it all went downhill. She brought this extra charge to the attention of the MOD Leslie, I have 25 years of being a retail district manager and I never seen an MOD with this kind of attitude right away. She was being defensive & rude ,speaking over us and raising her voice telling us these beers were delivered to our party. I tried to give her my opinion if she could check cameras or do an inventory count on the cups, she told us she had no access to cameras and the inventory on the cups were not accurate. Instead of de-escalating the situation, she escalated at this point our party was getting frustrated, at the end Leslie just walked away without resolving our issue. I feel Leslie needs to go to a couple of seminars for customer service and management skill building ,also upper management needs to coach her up. She was very unprofessional and seem to had her mind made up even before hearing our side of the story.
Then we had another MOD by the name of Dominique, which she was very helpful, professional, and resolve our issue She heard us out and apologize for Leslie‘s behavior, I commend her leadership skills.
We spend hundreds of dollars every year at your establishment but with this issue, we don’t know if we will return back. There’s an abundance of restaurants that we can choose from, but I hope your company can resolve this issue to gain our trust back. I look forward to hearing from upper management. I’m giving this one star not because of Emily or Dominique but because of how Leslie handle the situation.
Sincerely yours unsatisfied...
