This was THE worst pizza hut experiences ever! We ordered for delivery and when it arrived I grabbed two slices and the toppings/cheese slid right off, the crust was soggy and under cooked. Our second pizza was the wrong crust and under cooked crust.
We had already ignored the fact that when we placed the order online that it wrongly charged us an additional $4.50 for extra cheese (which we did not get) and for additional toppings (which we again did not get, I even deleted one of the meats the specialty pizza I ordered came with! When we called to ask why the online system was doing that and could we just place the order via phone so to not be charged incorrectly, the female employee told us no and that she didn't know why it was adding charges but that we'd have to just figure it out.
Needless to say we were not very happy. We had just spent $34.98 plus a tip. We called and said we would like the pizzas re-made correctly and that we would be down to pick them up so that we could bring the ones that were bad and make things quicker (remember now we were hungry and having to wait more time). The female employee said she would do that and credit us for the charge. She then put us on hold. About 5 min later she came back on the line and said she could not refund us but would give us a store credit. We told her this would not suffice as we would most likely not be using them again. We asked to speak to a manager. The manager Alex got on the phone and we told her the same thing. She then put us on hold. We were on hold a total of 30 freaking min. We finally hung up when we arrived at your location. Here we were met by a female employee named Kim. She said she was acting manager. I told her the issue, showed her the pizzas, told her I wanted my money back and she told me that she cant refund my money, just remake my pizza or give me a store credit. Then she went in the back and a young man came and spoke with us. He told me i could come back on Thursday (this was on Tuesday) when Melissa the regional manager is there. I said not acceptable. What kind of company does not give you a refund if they cannot A. Good customer service B. Quality product ??!! He then finally got this manager on the phone and only refunded me for $22. I paid a total of $37.98 and only received $22. I started the order at 8:15pm and finally left pizza hut at 9:50pm (still not having any food for dinner) yet you could not even refund me for the delivery or tax or the tip i no longer wanted the driver to have seeing as he couldn't do his job and check to see if the order he was in charge of transporting was correct? SERIOUSLY?! I cannot believe this. I will NEVER eat at another pizza hut again and this review is being shared on my social media so now neither will my friends or family. Just so happened I did have any ranch in my fridge either. So I called them and let them know they told me there was nothing they could if I wanted I could drive all the way back to pick up the 2 ranch packets which wasn’t worth it to me so they said they would make a note and I would have a credit for 2 ranch packets. Well I went in today and ordered the same order as before again they forgot my ranch but I checked before leaving and went back in and let them know they forgot my ranch’s. The tried to change me and I let him know they were already paid for in my order. And then let him know they did the same thing two orders ago he said I would have to to talk to the manager so I did and I told the manager about the situation. The manager a kid named Steven ask me my name which I gave him then he walked in the back and came back and asked me if I had an order number which I did because I always order though the app which when he looked at it could tell I order Pizza Hut fairly regularly. He looked at my phone and said well you need to talk to whoever you called on the phone three weeks ago. I was wondering why he asked my name and my phone number as well as order number if he had no way of verifying it to be lack any of the items. Ordered from Pizza Hut thinking I’d treat myself. Big mistake. I live five minutes away and it still took over an hour. They sent it through DoorDash. The driver looked like he just woke up from a nap and the pizza looked like it had been sitting next to him the whole time. Cold. Floppy. Sad. 😩
The pizza was okay but not worth what I paid. Thirty five dollars for one medium pizza and a couple sides? For that price, I could have cooked a full meal or just skipped dinner and dreamed of better food. 🍽️💤
Corporate is clearly milking the brand. This is not the Pizza Hut I grew up with. Now it’s all fees, wait times, and disappointment. DoorDash ruined the delivery game and Pizza Hut just let it happen. No quality control. No care. Just pass the blame and collect the money.
I had to go pick up the new pizza remakr. The staff? I feel for them. The workers looked stressed and burned out. The manager looked like he had not slept in three days. These are real people trying their best in a system that does not support them. Corporate needs to step in and help, not just raise prices. 💸😔
All I wanted was hot food fast. What I got was cold food late, weird customer service, and a receipt that hurt my feelings.
Save your money. Support a local pizza shops. At least they’ll care if your order shows up an hour late and frozen.
