Let me cut to the point here - Seriously terrible experience, and even worse food. Can never recommend and will certainly never return.

I really hate to do a review like this, but feel compelled to do so. It is especially hard because I know how difficult it is right now for small places to keep things going. Based on a lot of hype from various food groups, reviews, etc. we decided to pre-order Tamales for our Christmas Eve meal. Every year, we have tamales and have enjoyed many different ones over the years. These are seriously the worst ever. From the rude person on the phone when my wife called with some questions about the unmarked packaging to the tamale itself.

The Tamales were a bit on the small side, but okay. We got them heated for the meal and quickly discovered this was not going to be good. almost 100% masa in the pork and chicken. Seriously. A couple little (very little) shreds of protein kind stuck on the bottom of the masa log. Protein also had very little taste, but I'll consider that to simply be it being lost in the masa log. The sweet corn ones did have a bit better balance, but the filling tasted almost sour/bitter and just nasty. I didn't try the cheese/chili version but that one was at least edible according to my wife. 11 of the 12 went in the trash as we scrambled to find something for the meal as a replacement.

Shame on me for not trying these before a celebration meal. Never, ever, would we have expected small logs of solid masa (and no, I'm not exaggerating ) and sweet corn that was anything but sweet and edible. Between the phone call and the wife being made to feel like she was an idiot and the terrible food I simply cannot understand where the great ratings are coming from. $24/dz seems to be a going rate but I don't like throwing that away. Next time will certainly be from somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. I do believe that there must be a better product produced here to have the reviews they do, but looking back I see I am not alone in my opinion. T & T - you made a lot of claims about being the best when I was there talking to you. I hope you try harder for others. When there are others also highlighting the rudeness when contacting and the quality of the product there just might be...

Tiny hole in the wall Mexican food spots are typically my favorite. This one, however, missed the mark a bit. They’re mostly known for their pozole and tamales so I tried both. I tried the pork tamale first. Masa and meat are both full of flavor. BUT the masa was a bit on the dry side. Pozole tasted like it was out of a can, honestly (although I’m sure it’s not). The juice was way too thick and a bit too salty. The meat in the pozole was nice and tender, though. My kids also had the flautas plate, bean/rice/cheese burrito, and taquitos plate. It was good but nothing to rave about. Beans & rice were the best parts of each of those dishes. For drinks, we tried the horchata and jamaica. Horchata is a must try. It was really crisp and full of flavor. The jamaica can be made TOO sweet at some places and this is one of those places. I wouldn’t order the jamaica again. Salsa: get the red one! Their chips and “salsa” is a pico de gallo. Their pico isn’t spicy at all and all you really taste is tomatoes. So was it worth a try? Yes. Would I go back? Maybe for a bean/rice/cheese burrito, the red salsa, and the horchata. I’d go back just to try their churros too since we didn’t try them. They have only 2 tables inside the building, but they also have a back patio you can sit at outside if you want to eat there....

We wanted to love it too. Nothing 'authentic' about this place at all. I don't understand how you could charge $10 for a kid-sized burrito (picture attached) PLUS $3 for what looked like a small Jamaica drink with NO REFILLS... The hostess/ cashier/ waitress had a sour look on her face and seemed annoyed that we were asking questions about the menu. She brought over our food w/o another word, like asking if we wanted extra sauce, napkins, etc. The place was not busy and somehow, it took 30 MINUTES to get our 2 TINY burritos! HOWEVER, she was very attentive to the table with 4 older gentlemen, repeatedly asking if they were ok. Why was there a difference in our service? We saw their tacos and they were also EXTREMELY TINY TACOS.

Meat had little flavor and we left hungry after finishing our TINY burritos. Won't be coming back here and if you're Mexican like us, maybe try to avoid. If you're looking for good Mexican food in Rancho Cucamonga, you're better off going to Taco Bell and calling it a day, plus...

Today at my boyfriend and I decided to go eat outside at T&T. We ordered taquitos Al carte, corned beef quesadilla and one order of chips and salsa and a large horchata. Then went and got a table on the patio. Our chips and salsa come out they were delicious. Then my taquitos. About 6 minutes later my bf beff quesadilla. Okay so I have to honest everything looked good. However looks can be deceiving. My taquitos had no flavor the guacamole no flavor. I put lots of green salsa on them to give it some taste. My boyfriend said his beef quesadilla had no flavor and was super soggy but he hated anyhow. We're both very hungry and didn't want to complain however I am yelping about it because I feel like they maybe this will help with their flavoring their meat. I've come here for their menudo and posole. And I'm not going to lie the posole and menudo are very delicious. However I don't think I come back for anything else other than those two soups.
