This place is quite frankly bad. The price for lunch was $19 (12pm-3pm) and drinks are $3 extra. The first thing I did was inspect the self service area. I tried to get some dipping sauce but the selection was very limited. There was only around 10 sauces to choose from, all of which was low in stock. Moreover, there was luckily sesame oil and I could try to make my own sauce. But there was also low stock of that too. When I tasted it by myself I could instantly tell it was really bad quality. It was super watery and had a really thin consistency. It was like if you mixed canola oil with a tiny bid of sesame essence. I then looked at the plates next to the dipping sauces. The plates I got had hard water stains on them and look haphazardly cleaned. It's like they were just rinsed with water and left to dry. It looked cleaned, just not well. I then went to go look at the food at the self service area and there was pretty limited selection. Roughly around 15 different things in total. There was generic food like fried chicken, fries, chicken nuggets, egg rolls, and other things. I was looking forward to the fried dumplings as I had seen on the menu (if you look at the other pictures of other reviews you'll see a "appetizer" section) but there were none. There was also missing a lot of other things. As for the food itself, it looked pretty bad. It looked like it came straight out of a really low rated cheap chinese hibachi buffet. The chicken nuggets were really pale and soggy, the eggrolls were 60% wrapping, and I didn't bother getting anything else. There was also like oysters but I wouldn't trust it. I went back to my table. With my little tiny plate of watered down sesame oil, I placed my first order for the main event-the meat. My first order was beef belly, sliced pork, and spicy pork belly. The meat I got was definitely not that. I attached a photo of this. The beef belly is on the right most side. It looked like sliced beef which is a entirely different cut of meat, and the guy messed up the order and gave us pork belly instead of sliced pork. Also, the quality is really bad. The meat is literally grey. When I ate it, the meat had a bunch of connective tissue and sinew. The guy appeared to be chinese and when I ordered I literally pointed to the picture of the meat on the menu. But I guess it doesn't matter because the meat doesn't look like the pictures whatsoever. I ordered again and emphasized my selection to make sure he can't mess up by pointing and circling the meat on the menu again. I asked for sliced pork, beef belly (again), and beef bulgogi. I also asked for white rice. The sliced pork looked nothing like the photo. It looked like someone cut a walmart pork tenderloin while it was room temp with a knife. The beef belly looked the same as sliced beef and the only decent thing was the bulgogi. The rice itself was really bad. It was mushy. There was too much water added to the rice. All the staff is asian. How could they mess up rice? Overall, my impression of this place is that a really crappy chinese hibachi buffet owner decided to open a korean bbq without knowing anything about korean barbeque for a quick cash grab. All the staff appears to be chinese, not korean and the controls for the grill had chinese characters on it as well. You have seen what a crappy chinese buffet look like. Bad food, looks dirty, etc. Get all of that and turn it into a korean barbeque. Like I don't think the staff has ever been to a actual real *korean* barbeque because this is not it. Please just spend the $3 extra for KPot or $6 for Honey Pig. They are infinitely better. Any place in Ellicot City is better than here. Also I don't know how this place got so highly rated. It appears that the staff or the family of the owners just rated it 5 stars because most reviews are from chinese people. I doubt the other people who reviewed have never tried actual kbbq before. Lastly, I came in with a party of 4 and there was auto gratuity on the bill. It looked to be around 18% or 20%. So it was more like $24 per person.

Visited with my sister for the lunch special today and had a great experience! We got there a couple minutes after they opened so the food at the self service appetizer hot bar was warm and fresh. For $25 a person we enjoyed the unlimited sushi and BBQ grill. There is a great variety of appetizers, sushi, meat, veggies, drinks, sauces, and desserts for the price point. The meal even comes with a drink included. Some of the meat options tasted kind of fatty/rubbery but you do get what you pay for. The service was prompt and the restaurant was clean and well decorated. They had kind of a Pan Asian theme going on that went well with the dining experience. For grilling, I would definitely recommend the garlic shrimp. It was delicious! Some other reviews complained of having gratuity automatically added to their checks. We did not experience this, so perhaps they stopped adding it, or maybe it’s specifically for large groups or evening dining. Overall I think this is a great option for those in the area who do not want to drive down to Howard County for All you can eat Korean BBQ.

My two favorite things in one spot! I have been to many many kbbq and sushi spots and for an ayce spot at an affordable cost,T pot offers a great selection and quality dishes! They also have a small hot bar and cold bar in the back and the BEST part is that they offer bottled drinks like green tea, milk tea and aloe drinks! Additionally they do offer soda if those types of drinks aren’t your type. For the sushi, the rice to fish ratio was well balanced and nothing smelled or tasted fishy! For the meats, everything especially the garlic shrimp, thin sliced beef and the pork belly were solid! I also like the squid as well! I do have to mention the Galbi was pretty meaty for an ayce spot. I do have a suggestion to add some more sugar to balance the salt for the marinade. The service was excellent ! Servers were attentive and they even offered a free mug on the way out which was a promo they were running. The ambiance is family friendly and those who like anime will love the decor!

The Atmosphere was nice. Cool decor and a chill vibe to it. The reception was a bit cold, no greeting. I and my husband said hello and nothing. The reception was just cold and awkward. The food in the buffet was stale(The fried rice and noodles) It tasted and looked like it sat under the lamp for a while. There were a few little flies flying around. Wasnt appetizing at all. My husband ate my food so we wouldnt be charged for having uneaten food at our table. The Bulgogi meat was pretty good, the steak meat, not so much. We wanted to try out the restaurant because it's in our neighborhood and wanted to support but we will not be returning. We may just stick with Iron Age or Honey pig. I'm so sorry, but I'm just disappointed my husband paid $59 for us to have such a disappointing experience. We're usually pretty cool about things like this, but this was really disappointing. Told reception about the food, and again, nothing. I'm bummed, but I hope with a few adjustments you guys will have a great and successful business venture! Hopefully it was just an off day and we had the displeasure of...
