My partner and I were extremely disappointed with our experience here on 7/20. The night began with our waitress rushing us to place a drink order and an appetizer order within 5 minutes of us sitting, when we never received drink menus and had to ask for them specifically. From that point on, it seemed as though our waitress had an attitude toward us. My partner ordered a beer and I had ordered a signature martini. The beer came out within a few minutes, while I was told that the bartender had to retrieve more vodka for my martini, which I had no problem with. The issue was that it took the waitress way longer than it should have to bring out my martini, which was served to me in a mule mug. I spoke up to the waitress about this and she told us that she was also bartending that night and asked if I wanted a new one, to which I said no. She did end up sending out a new martini, which was a nice gesture. The waitress was not attentive to us at all, even though we were one of three tables in the entire restaurant and my water went empty for the entire night. We ordered two appetizers, which were the oysters and the crab & corn fritters. After a few minutes, our waitress came to let us know they were out of the fritters, so we chose the coconut shrimp instead. The oysters did not taste right at all and were very clearly not shucked well, as we kept getting shell pieces in almost every single oyster. For entrees, we decided on the crab pot boil and the shrimp & steak chimichurri dish. Both of the entrees came out lukewarm at best. I immediately notified our server, to which she asked us if we wanted to send them back and get new ones, to which we responded no. She mentioned that one of the owners was present that night and asked if we wanted to speak to her, and we said yes. Instead of sending out the owner, they sent out a very clearly fake manager who had one of the worst table-side manners I have ever seen. He insisted on taking our plates and bringing new ones, while we tried explaining that we really did not want new ones and just wanted to eat and leave. He took both our plates and said they would be out in 5 minutes with brand new ones. Not only did it take longer than 5 minutes, but the "new" crab pot boil was just the same one we had previously, and they had just reheated it and added a single lobster claw for the inconvenience. For the new steak dish, it was truly a new cut of meat; however, it was so fatty that both my partner and I could barely chew it. My partner went inside to speak with the owner, and when he tried to do so, the owner was very heavily intoxicated and slurring her words, so my partner let it go. In terms of being compensated for all of the issues, nothing was taken off our bill, and we only received a small discount. I am extremely disappointed with our recent experience here and will not...

Read moreThe food was atrocious. The waitress was super sweet and it wasn’t her fault.
My wife ordered a lobster roll, and in the first 3 bites there were quarter sized shells in each bite. When we complained to the waitress, she brought over the owner/manager and the woman asked if she could see the shells that my wife spit out. Seriously?? That’s disgusting. She than told us she would take it off the bill. When the bill came the owner/manager took off $10 instead of the entree price of $39, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves to try and get over on a customer after offering to remove the entree. They corrected it after I sent the bill back but that’s a shady way to do business.
I had halibut on the recommendation of the waitress, it was horrible, way overcooked, had the consistency of a piece of wood.
My daughter ordered a crab cake sandwich, also full of shells and barely any crab in it. All breadcrumbs.
The only thing that was half way decent was my son’s Mac and cheese. Bravo for not screwing up cooking pasta.
Stay far away.
The way the food was brought out and the way the owner/manager acted, I’m sure they will be closed soon.
Response to restaurants reply: There’s nothing to work out, even if we were given an invitation for a free meal; we would not return. If there was a mistake on one order that would be fine, everyone makes a mistake here and there, it was everyone’s food except for the pasta for my son. To ask to see someone’s chewed up and spit out food is preposterous and disgusting, and it wasn’t cartilage from the lobster it was the hard red outer shell, throughout the whole sandwich. That should not be in there, in quarter sized pieces. That’s a lack of inspecting food.
Lastly, to offer to remove an item from the bill and to not remove it, hoping that the customer just pays the bill and doesn’t see it is shady, and a terrible business practice, it’s not forgivable. You knew what you were doing, and you got caught trying to screw a customer over. Some people read their check, i wish I could give zero stars. Sneaky and shady. I feel bad for the lovely waitress that we had that has to deal with food and people like this, she...
