The Spot Café — Restaurant in Randolph Township

EDIT: This meal came straight from your kitchen as is. Hair and all. The correct way to run any business is to ensure cleanliness and quality of the final product or service being provided. I don’t have black hair or own any pets. To even suggest it could have been ANIMAL HAIR is unacceptable.

I do not believe small businesses are exempt from maintaining a sanitary kitchen. I stand by my 1 star experience and right to warn others of possible ANIMAL HAIR in their food.

Having the “highest quality products” and still serving it with unidentifiable hair is counterproductive.

To wonder the legitimacy of my review is ridiculous. Why would anyone leave a 1 star review unless it was a 1 star experience? Now I’m wondering if the rest of the 5 star reviews are legitimate. As another reviewer has mentioned, it is very likely the majority are just your friends/family.

Exceptional coffee experience from baristas who really know what they're doing and owners that have put a lot of thought and care into delivering a café experience that exceeds expectations. The Spot goes to great lengths to source the best ingredients and products. The coffee is from the venerable La Colombe and tastes like a million bucks. The alternative milks are the best products on the market and what you'd use if you were making the drinks at home. The pastries and gelato are a carefully curated selection of artisanal offerings by the best in the business. The baristas are particularly skilled drink-makers - my test of a good barista is a) knowing/executing the difference between a cappuccino and a latte and b) delivering the drink at the optimal temperature. Every barista that has served me at The Spot has passed my test with flying colors and every cup of coffee I've ever had at The Spot was a 10/10. I recently visited The Spot Café, and it truly lives up to its reputation as the town’s hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcome—thanks to the wonderful and helpful staff. They were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I took their recommendation to try the ice tiramisu latte, and I’m so glad I did! It was absolutely delicious—the perfect balance of espresso and sweetness. It was exactly what I needed to brighten my day. The café itself is beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating that creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Let’s not forget about the pastries! I had to try the mini butter scone and I was not disappointed. The young gentleman who helped me mentioned that the pastries are baked fresh every day with no preservatives, which made them even more special. I can’t wait to bring my girlfriends...
