To be honest, I don't normally eat deli meat, but the pictures looked good, so I decided to check out Fresser's Delicatessen since I was in the area. There is a small parking lot out front and a few counter seats with a small area for ordering inside.

I got a corned beef sandwich on marbled rye with Swiss cheese (I basically constructed a Reuben without realizing it) and a cinnamon pecan pastry. My total came out to be almost $20, which feels like a bit much for a sandwich, but I think it is on par with most other sandwich/deli shops nowadays, and the portion size could be enough for two meals depending on how much you normally eat. The corned beef was thinly sliced and very soft. It was also too salty for my liking, but I think corned beef is typically supposed to be saltier (again, I don't normally eat deli meat). As stuffed as the sandwich was, the sandwich did not fall apart when I ate it, which was great, and it tasted even better toasted.

The cinnamon pecan pastry was a nice, little sweet to top off the meal.

What really made my visit was how kind the people working there were, especially the lady who took my order. I can see this place being a local favorite; definitely had old time,...

Ah Fressers.

Ive worked in the area for about 4 years, and can say hands down that this is my favorite deli/sandwich shop I've had the pleasure of going to. It's the real deal.

Their sandwiches are all enormous, easily two meals a piece, and delicious. I've tried every sandwich on their menu, and not one has left me disappointed. That said, my personal recommendations are the buffalo chicken sandwich and the grilled italian. They also run a revolving list of specials, and if they have the brisket, get that. The wait staff is also a pleasure, and on non-peak hours are a pleasure to talk with. It's good to keep in mind that during lunch hours, they get very busy, so if you're picking up an order, it's usually best to call it in a bit before then.

If you're feeling adventurous, order the 27, the sandwich that takes its namesake from the restaurant itself. It's enormous, and keeps well for leftovers if you ask for the cole slaw...

I am at 60-year-old person. Me and my wife walked in there the other day for our first time in six years we live in Randolph Born to raise here I’m happy to say that I’m bilingual we walked in there the other day no one greeted us. We sat down on our own at first. I thought it was OK. The guy in the back doing the sandwiches that says how are you guys doing we’re doing fine thank you very much waiter, Older lady kept moving around, going to the outside tables because we sat on the bar section picked up other people dishes So we moved to a smaller table sat there for another 10 minutes just kept helping other people walking in never asked us if we wanted to drink, coffee, etc. as we got up and left says I hope you guys aren’t leaving because I haven’t been to you guys yet all in all I just think it was because me and my wife were speaking Spanish very soft I think they have their own customers sorry to say, but I think...

Went to breakfast at Fresser's this morning. Its not a place I get to often, but their food is definitely something I crave from time to time. Today I had two eggs, cornbeef hash, homefries and rye toast (pictured). They even throw in a small amount of fresh fruit - all for under $9. Its hard to see in the picture but the eggs are sitting on an absolute mountain of fresh cornbeef hash. Most places add a little cornbeef to potatoes and call it hash - fressers does it right. This is large chunks of cornbeef, some diced potatoes and tossed on the grill. Everything about the dish were delicious and the portion was huge. Real old school delis are hard to find these days, but Fressers is keeping it real. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Staff are super friendly, caught one employee on a bad day for brunch where she rushed out (assuming she quit), but the rest of the staff are noticeably friendly despite this little disruption. What set this place apart though is the great French toast and breakfast options! I got the Breakfast Monte Cristo, which was a melt in your mouth French toast breakfast sandwich (top quality French toast bread used)! A quick note to about this place is that it's set up as a deli, so it's a little different from a typical dedicated breakfast joint. Seating is cozy with books and newspapers to read. This place is a hidden gem and definitely recommended if you're around the area!
