McDonald's — Restaurant in Rapho Township

Normally ok food here, but today 1/11/2025 they give me a steak egg and cheese bagel. Bagel was hard, not normal softish-hard, but not quite as hard as a hard pretzel. The steak was 90% fat gristle, yes, about 90% without any exaggeration. I couldn't even chew It. Why would you make a product full of big chunks of gristle anyways! And the egg McMuffin was cold. I score them at a D- today. Today they sucked big time! *UPDATE: 4/13/2025 I just want to add that this particular McDonald's never serves fresh hot food compared to other McDonald's that I stop at from time to time. It's like they make all there breakfast sandwiches ahead of time and there they sit for longer than they should. The bread/muffin/bagel are NEVER fresh, EVER! So I have to downgrade this particular McDonald's to 2 stars for poor food quality. They really do not deserve more. *Update: 7/18/2025 I now avoid this McDonald's In MountJoy as much as possible. The food here just sucks 9 out of 10 times. Nowadays, I use McDonald's In Dillsburg, PA Instead of the one In Mount Joy. *August 2025 stopped for a cheeseburger. I was not disappointed cause I know this McDonald's never gives me fresh food and this time was no exception....

Bacon smokehouse burger had zero slices on it. Large fries not even filled halfway. Ice cream machine down.

I could kinda understand the ice cream machine. But likely it’s because the manager doesn’t keep things in order and clean. Ice cream machine is probably broken or not working well because of not cleaning or up keeping machine properly. This place is a mess and shouldn’t be up and running until you can provide ppl with a better quality service. Multiple times now that I’ve been to this McDonald’s and I’ve had issues with food being skimpy. Which I’ve only went to a small handful of times over the years. For $8 I should receive their large container filled full of fries and bacon on my “bacon smokehouse burger”.

Normally I would go back and complain. I’d probably get what I wanted. But why bother. At this point I’m just over the bad service. I’ll just avoid this McDonald’s forever. Or McDonald’s as a whole. Many many other fast food chains that I’ve never had the bad experience as I have with McDonald’s. I mean, I only get a craving for fast food a few times a year. So why even bother with the worst fast food chain...

To the management, you guys should look into keeping staff who actually works hard. Visited the store 2x today. 1st one through the drive through. Ordered a quarterpounder meal and got 2 mcchiken sandwiches. 2nd time, ordered a smoothie and sundae. The smoothie came out on time. Our order # was deleted on the board without serving us the sundae. Had to call the attention of your staff but an off duty staff basically assisted us. This store has the most staff I've ever seen at any given time in a Mcdonalds. Saw about 10-15 people working. But 5 girls stood out the most because they were just standing in a corner chatting away not minding customers or fellow staff who were serving the drive through and in the store. I can understand if they were in training or at least pretending to work, but conversations were loud about their own personal lives while other staff in the back were working. Waited over 20 minutes for a sundae. There were people waiting for their food inside the store just as much as we did. Who knows how long these girls have been...
