Between me and the other individual which I was with, we got buttered corn on the cob, a Mexican styled elote corn on the cob, lobster mac and cheese and a warm lobster roll. The two pieces of corn were pretty flavorful, but our waitress informed us that they hadn't had corn in a while and this was the first time in about 2 weeks. The corn was pretty small and I don't know if that was necessarily intentional or not, but I imagine that there is supposed to be some type of uniformity throughout the corn that they serve. Overall, besides the bit of corn at the end of my elote corn which was non-existent, these were very flavorful. Then came the main course. The lobster roll was mostly clawing and a sort of mush lined the bottom of the roll. The roll itself wasn't necessarily that great as it was kind of soggy, and was very average. The lobster mac and cheese was a sizable portion, but the actual macaroni and cheese was not necessarily the most flavorful, although it did have enough lobster to where I was satisfied. Now, I understand that many people might get takeout or that it is kind of standard to put the dishes in a aluminum foil dish with a cover already on it, But that doesn't necessarily excuse the fact that both dishes were cold on a Wednesday night when they were only two other customers seated. That was probably the most disappointing part...
Read moreI was craving a lobster roll the other night and unfortunately was not able to get there. I called to find out if they delivered and they said they were working on delivery service but did not offer it at the moment. I was sad for all of 2 minutes when I received an unexpected phone call back from the owner saying he would deliver to me. I was extremely surprised and very happy to say the least. The food arrived timely, fresh and warm with no issues. I also received a text afterwards checking to see if everything arrived ok. Kudos to the owners for going above and beyond. I definitely recommend and will...
Read moreThought the Lobsta meat was good, but then I asked for bit more butter sauce and it was spectacular. The buttered toasted bun seals the deal just like getting a lobsta roll in cape cod. :) and the portions are just right maybe exceeding, huge lobsta claws in my sandwich. I am coming back to get the same lobsta roll and try other sides. I thought the calamari was overcooked; I added old bay seasoning to the curly fries and that made it better. Can't wait to try the lobsta mac and cheese next. We sat outside in front, they have heating lamps in the front or u can sit in the back. Great outdoor covid...
