A Plus Clothing Alteration — Local services in Raritan

I left my wedding dress at the shop almost 4 weeks before the wedding. I was told that it would be ready late in the afternoon the day before I was to leave for our big event. (I was quite explicit about the travel plans and the deadline.) When I arrived at the shop, they happily took my payment. They did not want me to try it on. I brought a pair of slacks in to be hemmed. They told me to pick up in 1 week. When I went to pick them up they gave the slacks back to me telling me they did not hem them because there were a few cat hairs on them. Really? I have visited A Plus Alterations multiple times in the past. However, on my recent visit to have my pants hemmed, I noticed that they were still too long when I picked them up. I requested that they redo the work, but was informed that there would be an additional charge, as it was considered a separate job. I was surprised, as this seemed to be an error on their part, yet they still wanted to charge me. Additionally, their prices are quite high. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this...
