This is one of those places where what you order matters and multiple visits are required to determine their specialty. There is a range as some things are subpar, some acceptable, some the standard good enough and a few shine.
Examples: Subpar: Turon Acceptable: Tapsilog + BBQ skewer (both arrived lukewarm) Standard good: Nilaga (lukewarm) Shining star: Lumpiang shanghai
Tapsilog is different in that they serve Worcestershire rice rather than stir fried garlic rice. Egg slightly overcooked. Good news is breakfast is served all day. $7.50 for all options and includes tax.
Nilaga is concentrated and a little peppery.
Their lumpiang shanghai is fantastic. Freshly fried to order so hot upon arrival. While on the tiny side, the wrapper is beautifully thin and crispy and the filling is wonderfully moist and juicy. Still delicious once it cools down too. Highly recommend ordering this for catering!
