I waited in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes on 6/2/21. I was in line by 9:45p, they helped the car in front of me at exactly 10pm and then shut the light off in the menu while I was still in line. I continued to wait thinking they did that just to let any newcomers know they were closed. I got to the menu and an automated voice said they were closed. I went to the door and asked for a manager and she acted like a deer caught in headlights. She said her team told her nobody was in line. I told her what car I was behind and she chose to stand behind I was not in line when they turned the sign off. No apology, nothing was done to rectify the situation. Poor management to say the least. Customer service was not even an option to the team working tonight. Maybe they should actually come outside and make sure they don't have customers waiting. Needless to say they lost a customer tonight, and I will make sure others know my experience. For every upset customer you lose ten.
I called the next day and "Cindy" the store manager told me there is "nothing we can do, it is just the way it is". Again, customer service does not exist. Seeking customer satisfaction does not exist.
Update I received an apology from the franchise office. She called me to apologize and let me staff would be trained better. I was offered free treats, but won't use them. I just wanted ownership of the problem...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to the drive-through, I encountered an employee, Mara A, who was notably rushed and dismissive throughout the ordering and payment process. As we were placing our order, she repeatedly interrupted with "Anything else?" before we had the chance to finish each item. This made the experience feel rushed and unwelcoming.
Upon reaching the payment window, Mara continued to rush us, provided only three out of the four items we ordered, and then abruptly closed the window. She then left the premises before completing our order, requiring another employee to step in and provide us with the missing item.
While I understand that employees may have challenging days, professionalism and courteous customer service should always be maintained. Unfortunately, this interaction turned what should have been an enjoyable visit into a frustrating and disappointing experience. I hope this matter can be addressed to ensure a more positive experience for future customers.

Unsatisfactory drive-thru service 8-27-18. Only car in line, with a 20+ minute wait for small ice cream/french fry order. Several employees observed through window, so unsure why order would have taken so long to prepare.
Today (9-7-18), to prevent another bad experience through the drive-thru, we opted to order ice cream from inside the facility. Five customers inside. Three cars observed in drive-thru. Equally awful service. Several employees behind counter, yet, after 10 minutes of no order, had to approach counter checking on order status. Female employee confusingly asked what was ordered, insinuating our order was forgotten or lost, quickly made ice cream order, and french fries arrived 8 minutes later.
Everyone is entitled to a bad day now and then, but habitual lackluster customer service makes one question management. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and choose to buy our ice cream at DQ's 20...
