I thought I would support a small business during this harsh pandemic. My boyfriend and I went there two weeks ago and wore our masks as we want to protect others while out in public. The woman behind the counter (presumably the owner) seemed to be annoyed that we were there, but I assumed that maybe she was having a bad day. No big deal, everyone has those. However, shortly after we ordered, a man walked in and she welcome him as soon as he stepped foot inside and was very pleasant with him while ordering. I did notice this gentleman did not have a mask on. I do support free will and although it makes me uncomfortable that some choose not to wear a mask in public during a pandemic, itâs not my body and therefore not my business. The woman behind the counter did not have a mask on either, I might add. Honestly, I did not think much of it at the time. However, we chose to give this place another shot last Thursday. Same thing, we were barely acknowledged and the âownerâ seemed annoyed by our presence. Again, did not think much of it this time but I was a little bothered by the lack of enthusiasm for helping a customer. Another couple came in after us, and they were not wearing masks. She welcomed them heartily and made small talk with them as she rang them up. And then, another person came in with no mask on, same exchange. Now, I donât want to assume anything, but it seemed too coincidental that she had been so short with us but not with those who chose not to wear masks. Iâm not one to write reviews, but I felt it was necessary this time as there is an obvious difference in the way she treats her customers if they wear a mask. I also feel disrespected as itâs my right to wear a mask just as itâs your right to not wear one. I will not treat you differently if you donât wear one, and I expect the same respect, especially as a paying customer. If anything, I should be upset with YOU for making my food/coffee without a mask during this pandemic!! I am very disappointed with this business, and I will not be taking my business there anymore and I will be telling my friends and family about this as well. Itâs very unfortunate as I love to support small businesses, especially during the pandemic. It looks like they are building a Scooterâs down the road, so luckily I will be stopping there in the future. They have always been pleasant there and their coffee is considerably better than Missouri Mud Co.âs weak, sickly-sweet syrup coffee. And I know for a fact they wear masks while making my food, so...
Read moreMissouri Mud Company is a Coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch. It has a truck stop type vibe. They had a local classic rock radio station playing through the restaurant speakers. There are paintings and jewelry on the walls with price tags on them. It's located on the left side of the Willow Wood strip mall in Raymore along highway 58.
I ordered the Greek Omelet with Gyro meat, a breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant, and Biscuits and Gravy. Which totaled $24.46 plus tip. The food came out in less than 10 minutes and was steaming hot. :)
The Greek Omelet was fantastic. You gotta try it. I was surprised at how well the gyro meat complimented the eggs. I love bacon and this was better than a sausage or bacon omelet. I highly recommend it.
The breakfast sandwich with bacon and cheese was average. Nothing unpleasant and nothing exciting to report.
The biscuits and gravy were my least favorite of the items ordered. I wanted more flavor. While trying it, I had a strong desire to add hot sauce.
There was a good selection of condiments available to add to ordered items.
In the future, I'll stick to George's...

Found the owner and her family to be extremely friendly. I had heard great things about this coffee shop/Cafe but I didn't know what to expect until I came to try it myself.
First of all,... They really do serve the best Reuben in KC! No joke. I also loved the Loaded Baked Potato Soup, you have to try it!
I will 100% be coming back to try more menu items and hopefully the coffee too!
We are a family of 5 and escaped for $50. I was very happy with that considering the fantastic quality of the service and food and atmosphere.
A very special shout out to the owner who talked with me while our order was being made! She shared with me some of her family background and also shared how her grandfather came to America and had success selling popcorn on a cart. She said if he could do it, she could too!
I recommend Missouri Mud Co to anyone who loves coffee and good deli soups and đ„Ș's.
