Art's International Bakery — Restaurant in Raynham

I was very excited to have recently found out the location for Art's International Bakery. I guess I don't get out much so I wasn't aware they'd opened at a new location after the fire. I was lucky enough to have a friend bring me a few linguica sandwiches last week and after not having one in over 10 years it was everything I remembered it to be. Everyone that walked in my house commented "it smells so good in here. Whatcha cooking?" I told them what it was and where from, I couldn't take the credit. Recently I'd been to White's Bakery and noticed their prices for the baked goods were much higher. I have to be fair and say I haven't tried the sweets that I did purchase at Art's yet to compare taste at this time, but they are cheaper in my opinion. The only downside to my experience today was the confusion with my order. I'd asked for 3 of the personal sized carrot cakes and 1 of the personal size tiramisu and ended up with just 3 tiramisu and no carrot cake.🙁 I also noticed a sign on their front door advertising their own dog treats baked fresh in house and went back in to purchase some of those. My dog gives them 2 paws up and has been pouting for another since I walked in the door so they must be tasty.🐶🤎🍪🐾🆙️ I'm hoping all the treats I got for myself are just as tasty! I've already shared some with a few friends who were pleased. I think I'll have my cup of Venus de Milo soup first with my fresh roll and have tiramisu for dessert then I still have half of a cinnamon sticks for breakfast (shared the other half with a friend already) and for lunch tomorrow I'll have a linguica sandwich which I know tastes great!! They could become addicting!😋 I just wish I'd gotten a little piece of carrot cake to try out though, that's one of my favorites, but now I have an excuse...

They make a cream covered Swiss roll that is usually very good. I wanted one for my wife's birthday and went in on a Saturday to find out if they were going to have any on Sunday. There was only one very sad looking one in the case so they checked in the back for me and told me they weren't baking between now and then but there was another one out back. I went in on Sunday to pick it up. They were two brand new fresh ones in the case even though I was told there wouldn't be and they were both jammed full of cream. When she showed me the one for my wife it was that sad looking one that had been in the case on Saturday. I asked her to take the Happy birthday ribbon off of that and put it on one of the ones in the case. She refused to do it. Stopped in to order a birthday cake and as always was attended nicely and quick. I got their pineapple cheesecake cup which as always was great, their cheese danish wasn’t my personal taste and the linguica pocket was delicious! They have plenty or more options when it comes to desserts. About every 3-6 months will be posting cakes i ordered from them. I have never had a problem with cake orders and i have eaten their cakes for 40 years sin i was 1 years old and my go to is yellow cake with pineapple filling. The peacock cake was whipped cream frosted funfetti cake with blueberry filling; i just sent them the personalized imaged, only requested the shell border and they did the rest which i loved.
