Mi Casa Su Casa Cafe — Restaurant in Reading

I am not familiar with the Reading area and this was the first restaurant near where I was headed that looked friendly. I am so glad I rejected the first 3 places I walked past. The eating area was cozy and clean. Colorful contemporary portraits from a local artist were on the wall. The server (who I believe was also the owner) was super sweet and friendly. You could tell she was close with her regulars. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was amazing! Seriously. I made that laugh noise you do when taking the first bite of something truly delicious. Mi Casa Su Casa is my favorite local restaurant for Dominican, Puerto Rican & Cuban food.

The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is always clean & lively. The food & service are great.

We recently had our daughter’s quinces catered by them too. Everyone loved the yuca, platanitos maduros, carne de puerco & arroz con gandules.

Our 🇨🇺 & 🇵🇷 family and non-Hispanic family & friends also enjoyed their Dominican lasagna the night before the party, while decorating. Great quick meal!

Johanny and her staff were so amazing at my wedding!! Everyone was professional and super sweet while serving the food. The food was also AMAZING, we received so many compliments from our guests about how great the food tasted. The staff made sure pitchers were filled and refilled and cleaned up the buffet in a timely manner. They also made sure the cake was cut and plated for our guests.
