They were super nice!! But sadly disappointing. They are expensive…but we figured give them a shot any way. The food was just eh, at best. Roast beef and onion rings were cold (we only live 2-3 minutes from the store), the coleslaw tasted like a bottle of vodka (not vinegar or mayo as expected) ie inedible (even for the drinker in the family) and for $4 we got 4 tiny sauce cups not even filled, the roast beef was gristly (long strands of fat to spit out) each well over $10, the onion rings while well cooked (lightly brown) were totally devoid of any flavor (super bland), no spices or salt. Just blank. They sent us home with somebody’s unpicked up calzone to try out, which was nice, chicken parm was (again cold), but pretty tasty. The meal probably cost them $5, maybe $10 being generous, and we paid over $40…for two sandwiches, from a sub shop. Unimportant, but three football games on TV was just not my atmosphere vibe, which is why we chose to bring it home. All in all, we’ll stick with Billy’s on Main Street in Wakefield, cheaper and...
Read moreWas pretty excited to try for the first time tonight, but ended up being really disappointed. Called ahead to order a Super Beef and small onion rings. Online menu says $13.38 total, I get there and it’s over $22. Yikes.
Then had to wait 15 mins for onion rings after cashier said two separate times it would be “just another minute”. 10 minutes in, I don’t think he liked that I asked when they would be ready because when they actually were ready, he made it a point to package up all the other orders first (mind you, I had been there longest and mine was literally 2 items, while other orders were close to a dozen) before another employee came over and handed me mine. C’mon.
$22 for what ended up being a soggy sandwich and average onion rings - would not recommend. Next time I’ll go to Liberty Bell where the prices aren’t a head fake, the food is ready on time, and they appreciate...
Read moreDisgusted. I ordered lunch from Anthony's for the doctor's office I work at. Placed the order at 11am (only 3 sandwiches and a salad). One hour goes by, I call to get an ETA, she says 15 minutes. I called back 40 minutes later, still no delivery, she says ETA is 5 minutes. I call back 20 minutes later, she says the driver is back and left it somewhere... so two hours later, not one call from the driver, it's 100 degrees outside and I have to go find where he left the food. Doctor's and employees don't get to eat until at least 5 pm due to their lack of competence and general stupidity. Update: finally got the food and none of it was labeled, the salad was inedible, lettuce was white, veggies were soft and old, no extra dressing (that we were charged for), the wraps were mushy and gross. I asked for my money back, we'll see if...
