Honestly I always loved this place. But now I have to stop going . If you ever use a card check your transactions. No matter if you leave a tip in there bucket they will STILL charge extra to your card , I have multiple disputes going on right now with my bank . I have a 25$ check and they charged me 8$ extra to my card . First time I let it go . However after going 2-3 more times each and every time they give me a receipt and when I look at my card the transaction amount is always more . Not 1-2 dollars but 5, 10, 7. This is illegal . I tip every where I go , I’m a waitress . But to decide how much you and charge my card repeatedly is not okay . When they were confronted about it they gave every excuse in the world that it was my “bank”. No it is not my bank and that’s why my banks making a dispute on it . Every excuse they had made absolute no sense. They would have made more money off me keeping me as a customer . Check your cards compared to...
Read moreAs a loyal customer for many years I am sad to announce that I can no longer afford to eat here. As a woman who doesn't cook, I strongly rely on this place to feed me. My dinner "to-go" order would usually consist of small servings of rice, meat, spaghetti, and a few tostones. One combo platter as a proper complete Dominican meal, not separate side portions as I am only one person. Plus the tip; so it comes out to $34 total in the end. This is ridiculous. There is a line of tolerance and you have crossed it. I feel like they are taking advantage of my situation and now I either have to learn to cook or starve. Thanks. Not to mention my mayoketchu was watery and gross. I noticed it....

As time went on and other people kept getting their food brought to the table, I became very impatient. I think all in all I waited 15-20 for the Chimi.
Once it came I was skeptical but ate it. It was good, the bread was a little to crunchy but I still enjoyed it. I enjoyed the maduros and the pernil. I would go back just to try...
