Classic place. Everyone was kind and helpful. The prices are amazing and the food was classic. My son had 2 huge slices of pepperoni and I had a meatball sub. We split the fries with bacon and cheddar, and added jalapenos and a side of hot sauce. It was perfect and burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth-raw hot. All for less than $28 which is hard to get these days. I would give the atmosphere a 5 if you are looking for a classic family owned and operated takeout joint. It is simple and mamma is doing the books at a corner table. They have a TV playing Italian music videos and soap opera hanging in the corner. I want to come back for the lasagna.

A personal favorite from my time at Albright! A long term family business in the area, when my parents attended Albright in the 80s they were served by a little girl who now runs it! They're square pizzas are ready to serve a crowd and the pizza by the slice is a great quick bite. Hot sandwiches are delicious, the large size usually leaving leftovers! Worth calling order in ahead of time, they can get busy.

Best Cheesesteak outside of Philly (within PA). Pizza Italia actually seasons their meat and will follow special directions too! The cheesesteak I had last night scratched an itch that Jim’s steaks in Philly couldn’t even touch. Don’t sleep on PI!

I’ve been going to PI since I was in elementary school, and I recently learned that my parents did the same when they were young. I don’t know if they recognize me when I go in but it feels like family when I do. The last time I had their pizza was the beginning of January, and I had forgotten how good it was.

We had a grandma’s pizza and a pepperoni, and they were both excellent. Crust was perfect, not super oily, and made fresh. But it’s not just the pizza. People talk up Philly cheesesteaks, but a California cheesesteak from PI is much better than the steaks I got from Pats. There may be some decent steaks there but honestly I do not see the point when PI exists.

Anyway, great experience every time, never had a bad one in over 30 years of...

Pizza italia is the best around. Family owned shop now for 50 years. Been ordering since I was a kid and now my kids enjoy it as well. Amazing pizza and best Italian sandwich I have ever had.And have you ever had a grandma pizza, smh..you will lose all control once you do. If you havent had their food you really dont know what your missing. The best part is through this pandemic they have stayed open and served us all. And even better to tell you they have the cheapest deliver charge around. . Cant beat that. Good home cooked recipes in delivered to your door.Theres a reason they are going on 50 years in business. Congratulations on 50 years pizza italia...
