Sunset Mexican Ice Cream — Restaurant in Reading

This used to be my favorite place to go but after today it’s not anymore. They shouldn’t just hire anyone, they should train their employees in how to treat customers as well. Today I went with my mother and brother and everything was going well until it was time to pay. I gave the lady a 50 dollar bill and she gave me 2 dollars back when the total was 18 dollars so she thought I gave her a 20 dollar bill. I’ve worked in customer service before so I know how it feels we all make mistakes but the thing that got me mad is when I told her I gave her a 50 dollar bill she got mad and said I gave her a 20, she wasn’t gonna check or anything she was completely sure I gave her a 20 which was not true. I kept telling her and they said I had to buy something else in order for them to check so yeah I wanted my money back. The lady kept saying it’s a 20 in an angry way. When I’m the one that’s supposed to be mad here not her, that’s why I said “they should train their employees on how to treat people or at least apologize, this lady didn’t even apologize after she checked and saw that it was in fact a 50 dollar bill. And again what got me mad was the lady’s attitude. Definitely not going back...

Nice little ice cream shop! The corn, Elotes and Esquites, were really good. Wasn't sure how the crumbled takis would be sprinkled on the supreme but we were surprised how good it actually was. Ceviche was also great. The chamoy and tajin on the Mangonada wasn't my favorite but overall it was good and it's probably how a mangonada is supposed to be and someone used to that flavor pairing would probably love it. If you're not used to that kind of flavor combination you may like it better if you ask for lite...

I came in with my sons to try this different kind of ice cream, I came in to all these flavors and wonderful customer service. I will be returning.
