McDonald's — Restaurant in Readington Township

This McDonald's is one of the very few that did not have a drive thru, which was probably because it was part of a strip mall where the merchants had a door to their storefront and a backdoor in the rear of each establishment for throwing their trash away from public view.

However that was not the reason why I gave this McDonald's a rating of 3 stars. The workers in the back did a poor job of getting the orders quick enough to keep up with the speed and efficiency of the cashiers up front, which caused a delay that saw an increase of customers waiting to receive their food in a small waiting area that resulted in the 6-feet social distancing guideline to no longer be observed. If I walked in to this establishment and see this many number of people inside, I'd turn back around and leave because it wouldn't feel safe for me to stay there, especially during a pandemic.

To be fair, I also did not give this establishment a 2-star rating because they're probably not like this every day. In fact, I returned to this same establishment yesterday just about the same time of the day on a different day of the week and there was roughly the same number of customers yet I got my food in a...

This is an awful location for many reasons. I went here by following the highway signs. It was miles from the exit. It is in a small plaza. There is no drive thru. Enter on the corner of the building thru 1 set of double doors for both entry and exit which proved to be crowded. You can only place your order in person (no self check out) but there is no where for anyone to stand to wait. So customers don't know where the order line is or the wait lone. Some people were hogging tables while waiting so they ran out of tables. The bathroom was dirty and messy and creepy. It's practically IN the dining room. The wait was painfully long for everyone. There were 2 people working there that I could see (the kitchen is wide open). I'm really surprised McDonalds approved this location for a franchise. I would never go back to this location. I just watched a great movie "The Founder" today and was looking forward to appreciating a burger and fries. My son wanted a McGriddle, the wife wanted a Big Mac (Mac is the name of one of the founding Brothers) and I just wanted to try 4 spicy nuggets. We placed the order via the app with delivery to a parking spot outside. A woman comes out and tells us there is no breakfast at this location and that the app was wrong so my son went inside to pick a substitute. 5 minutes go by and my son comes sans-food. 20 more minutes of waiting! Finally we get the order, we tasted some fries in the car ride home - no salt, cool and rubbery.. We got home and my spicy nuggets were regular ones.
