Placed an order through the app for pick up time of 12:10. I was running behind and ended up there at around 12:45 because I was seeing patients and got behind which was totally out of my control. I went to the take out area as the app said my food was ready, but it was nowhere to be found on the shelf. I waited 10 minutes for the guy to even come remotely near me so I could say excuse me to inquire about where the order was. I asked him about it and he completely ignored me and went back to making other orders. I was still standing there in shock that this was actually happening and then he came back again and I said the app said it was ready and it isn't here. He asked for the pick up time and pulled it up on the computer he had and said it was done and went back to work not even attempting to help me at all after I literally said it wasn't there. Then I went to the cashier who had an AirPod in and wasn't paying attention to anything either and I asked about a refund because now my break was completely over and I had to get back to work since I have a lot of patients to tend to. I let her know the app said my food was ready and it wasn't on the shelf and her response was I took to long to get there and that they probably threw it out , no apology no offer to remake it basically told me sorry too bad. Then I asked for a refund because at this point I didn't even want the food and she was not even making eye contact with me telling me I had to do it online because they don't give refunds in store. To make matters worse the app it took me at least 30 minutes to talk to an actual person and not a bot to explain what had happened to get a refund. This is terrible service chipotle should be ashamed these are the people they have representing them , especially since I have not only supported this business for years but have worked for this chain in the past myself and never would I treat a customer the way they treated me. Customer service online also was extremely unapologetic not offering any compensation or anything for a customer who so avidly supports this business. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing that hit me was the palpable chaos. The line was considerably long, with customers looking visibly frustrated due to the wait time. It was clear that the staff was overwhelmed, but this was not addressed in a timely or efficient manner.
Service was extremely subpar. Despite the rush, there was little to no sense of urgency from the staff. Their movements were lethargic, and they seemed to lack the energy or enthusiasm to cater to the increasing number of customers. This resulted in an agonizingly slow service that tested the patience of even the most tolerant amongst us.
When it was finally my turn to order, I was met with a lack of attentiveness that was, quite frankly, astonishing. I had to repeat my order several times and even then, the staff seemed distracted and disinterested. It felt as though they were not valuing or respecting the customers' time and choices, which was a significant letdown.
The food, when I finally received it, was unfortunately not worth the wait. It was hastily put together, and the portions were inconsistent. The lack of care in the preparation was evident in the taste as well. It was a far cry from the flavorful, fulfilling meal I have come to associate with Chipotle.
Overall, this particular Chipotle visit was a letdown in terms of both service and food quality. The slow pace, lack of attentiveness, poor food preparation, and cleanliness issues all contributed to a dining experience that was far from satisfactory. Got confirmation the day before for the order and a doordash text the day of saying they they were waiting for the food and they will be delivering it. Time for delivery passes, I give it 15 minutes then call customer service(donât bother to call the restaurant, they donât pick up the phone even when their own customer service calls) customer service says the delivery was cancelled. Zero communication to the Customer to let them know the delivery was cancelled. Customer service says for someone to go to location to pick up the order (again they donât pick up the phone so no way to confirm order was ready with the restaurant) and the restaurant tells us the order was cancelled. Called customer service back they said that the order wasnât cancelled only the delivery but thereâs nothing they can do at that point because the restaurant doesnât pick up the phone for any one.
