NOT COOL … i’ve asked in three different formats if you please could reimburse me for the food poisoning meal that you gave me the other day . I’ve actually been stopping by this place for probably five years of my road trips back-and-forth between Washington and Arizona one of my favorite stops I always take my lunch to lake Shasta.

This is the first time I’ve ever received food poisoning from this store. It was the most horrible experience to have food poisoning out on the lake while traveling I wasn’t even be able to continue on with my journey had to stop and get a hotel that extra cost.

I do know that is one of the risks of eating raw food out in public.

But when you have terminal disease you have to eat specific you do the best you can.

Normally it’s a great choice this time it wasn’t please be careful on how you store and keep your fruits and vegetables …. It was one of the most horrible experiences having food poisoning while traveling.

It only took a few bites or a few sips I was not able to finish my juice or my bowl they’re both sitting in my car still. Stench emanating from my car was disgusting.

I have emailed I have called I am highly disappointed nobody’s gotten back to me I will never shop here again all I was asking for was my food to be refunded I’m in $300 on the hotel rooms. Just had to go to the emergency room because I just couldn’t get the vomiting under control

Clean and friendly cafe. The food is well worth every penny. They have a small menu of vegan/vegetarian options with a juice bar. In my two different visits I have had the Vegan wrap, bbq wrap, refuel smoothie, and a juice (I had custom made). All were worth the money and tasted amazing. I plan to come back here again. There is a small area to purchase healthy foods if you are looking to shop. There is also a small eating area inside and on the patio as well.

Update 2024: As my review was from 4 years ago let me refresh my review. This is now my favorite cafe in Redding. It is so close to the I5 exit so if you are traveling, I recommend heading over. They have the best vegan/vegetarian options in this area and just healthy food in general. Expect very fresh high quality food and juice. I always enjoy the wraps (my favorite is the vegan). My children love the pizza and crepes. The juice is amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing and trendy. It is more suited for 2-3 people to stop in and have a juice. It is not for large groups, though they do have 1 large table in there that could seat probably 8.

My hopes for the future would be that they consider dinner hours and options. We have not many vegan/healthy food restaurants in Redding. I would also love to see them expand to brewed coffee/tea options. I also miss the patio.

Overall, if I am going to go anywhere for lunch in Redding... I want to be at...

Food was good, but service was poor-mediocre (not including the young boys working in the kitchen, they were very sweet).

Visiting the area from out of town, as a Vegan, I was excited to come and get my breakfast on!

I deducted 1 star for the poor service. The woman who took our order was rude. When I asked her if she still offered crepes, she pointed to a black TV screen as though there was something wrong with me. When she came around to see that the TV was off, she said something to the effect of, “Wow, I was thinking you couldn’t read”. After she turned on the TV, she still failed to put up the menu items. So when she charged for the crepe, I had no idea how much I was paying for the food I ordered, and was double charged. They returned the funds for the extra crepe order, but it seemed like it was an inconvenience to ask them for the refund. The lady did apologize, but her energy was drab and she seemed like she didn’t really want to be bothered.

I deducted another star, since they didn’t offer coffee as listed on their Google My Business page.

I think this place has great intentions, but they need to take a course on how to deliver great customer service.

I imagine they are in business because they are probably one of the only businesses in the area that offer plant based options…even so, if I had to come back to Redding, I...
