Subarama — Restaurant in Redding

I rarely crave a sub or any kind of deli sandwich. Its my least favorite thing to eat. Saying that! With how hot it's been all I wanted was a cold sub. When I tell this is probably the best sandwich I've bought in town- I'm👏telling 👏you👏!

I did a smaller sub on herb cheese bread, salami, turkey, and pepperoni with ghost pepper cheese, and veggies. The quality of ingredients was fantastic and the small sub is the same as most places regular sizing. Actual Value? In this economy? 👀

The filling to bread ratio was perfection!!! I sometimes find sandwich places have more bread than filling. NOT HERE! Shrinkflation? Who is she? Irrelevant. (That ghost pepper cheese is actually spicy if you're into that, 🔥 👌 😋 💯)

Outside of a fantastic lunch, the interior is such a warm and welcoming vibe. They showcase local artists work for sale so you get food and a gallery experience in one. I love how open everything is and you can smell fresh bread the minute you walk in.

Terrible experience! Rude racist staff! This restaurant offers delivery through door dash, I ordered a sandwich and it came completely wrong! I called the staff to let them know, a man answered and said let me hand you to my "superior". A female named Kc and the phone and she said we'll bring it back and we'll remake it. And I said we'll that defeates the purpose of me paying a delivery fee. She said 'we'll we can't understand "those people" and their accents when they call.' and that next time I should call it in directly. And I said maybe you shouldn't go through the app service then. And she said "well its not like we did it on purpose to piss you off. " I told her i didn't call to be cursed at or treated badly and ended the conversation. Subarama is a great sub shop that is near and dear to my heart. I grew up coming here and the new owners have really brought new life back into it. They have excellent service (even with being short staffed sometimes -- you just have to have patience in the lunch rush hours). You can tell they really care about this business and what it to thrive while also supporting other local businesses. Their food is delicious and I'm never disappointed. I try to tell everyone about them because I'm always surprised at how many people have never been. They go the extra mile for their customers. With being a regular, they even have written down my order and I can call it in quickly on a busy work day!...
