McDonald's — Restaurant in Redding

Hmmmmm... how can I this that won't make this place sound awful? Now, mind you it was 108 degrees out and we were on a long drive home, and really only chose this spot because it should have been quick and my hubs wanted to drink Coke. We decided to go inside so we could get refills. Well, though it appeared to be fully staffed, there was only one other person in line, and there was not a long line in the drive-through, it took a very long time for anyone to come to the counter to take our order. Once placed they gave us a table number and then the challenge was on to find a clean table. We settled on a relatively clean table and waited, and waited. Heck, I even had time to use the restroom (which was not fully stocked) and then still waited. Then they called our table number and we had to go to the counter to get the tray! I don't mind picking up our food but what's the point of giving you a number to stand on your table if they aren't going to bring it to your table (like other McDonald's locations we've been to are doing)??? Much to my chagrin my sandwich didn't have onions on it and I hadn't thought to ask for them so the hubs went to ask for some. It took nearly 5 minutes, not just for him to get them but for someone to even ask him what he needed! Of course, by the time he got back our sandwiches were lukewarm, not bad tasting, but still lukewarm. Even when it's 108 degrees outside, a hot sandwich is tastier when eaten hot, not lukewarm. Winter tonight about 6:00 to have dinner and first of all when the order came out they dropped iced tea on the floor so they picked it up went back to change it but they never changed the paper or anything on our Trey so everything was wet the french fries the paper you know the bottom of the the wrappers for the burgers and stuff so then when we were done when I got my refund and then my friend went up and got hers and we stood there for 10 minutes in the front waiting for somebody to come up and help us I hollered three times hello hello and I know she's seen as the lady in back but she kept avoiding me so I finally I walked around the the counterto get somebody's attention and she just turned around she stopped her hand and was hollering you know you can't be back here you can't be and I said well then you need to pay attention to the front we've been here for 10 minutes and nobody has helped us you've walked by us you've ignored us you cannot be back here you can so finally two other girls came from the back one girl the manager I know she turned around and she walked off and sat down with the other girl a girl came up to us and she got us a refill and she goes next time just please say something I said I did three times the lady that was behind the behind their doing french fries and doing drinks whatever she was doing totally ignored us even when she walked by I know she seen as she looked right out of it a couple of times.. that is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to and I will never ever go back there again I'm sorry this is bulshit I've been in the restaurant business for 45 years and that was just totally rude and...

Out of all the McDonald's in the Redding area.. this is by far the best all around that ur gonna get.. they seem to have a decent system in place.. probably a reflection of the decent management they do have.. not all the GenZ employees are great.. that seems to just be the norm these day's.. but they are "babysat" fairly closely.. so they are restraint for the most part.. order's seem to de accurate compared to the other fast food places.. sometimes they get swamped.. but seem to push through the crazies pretty quickly.. u just have to hope ur on the back end of the "bottleneck".. my only real issue I have is all the homeless drug/alcoholic addicts who are allowed to pest the customers.. even sitting there right at the end of the drive thru so there is zero chance ur gonna miss them.. they do sit inside for hour's at a time.. cuz of the mental health all these people have.. I always see families looking for a safe and clean place they can sit so they might be able to enjoy the moment.. when I bring any of my babies.. I'm always paying attention to the one's inside.. NOT enjoying my moment with my babies unfortunately.. regardless.. out of all of the above.. I still would recommend this one for sure.. again very good management and pretty decent employees overall!. And make sure to be extra nice and say hi to Tammy!.
