Update: I should’ve wrote this a while ago and didn’t. The company strung me along just enough that it would be out of the window to be able to file a small claims court case. They have never replaced the cushions never gotten back to me and refused to allow me to speak to a manager. scammed 100% by this place. So I paid for the price of a very expensive down couch and only received a very cheap couch with awful foam cushions.
I purchased a very expensive down filled sectional in January 2021. After delivery I realized the couch we received was hard foam filled with zero down. I contacted the store and after a couple attempts finally was in contact with the manager and was told it must’ve been a mistake at manufacturing and that they will have the cushions swapped out for the correct ones. I was told this could take several weeks due to they would have to take the current cushions down to manufacturer and bring correct ones back. Several weeks went by and nothing. I again tried to contact store. After several attempts finally got in touch with someone. I was told because of Covid it might take a few more weeks, which was understandable. Several months go by and nothing. I would periodically call and was never able to reach anyone other than a floor salesman who would say they have no idea and would leave a message for the manager. Several months go by again. I went into the store a couple times and same thing, manager was never around and no one could help, but would leave message. I’ve called several times a month since this happened and I’ve never had a call back from a manager or been able to get in touch with someone who can help. I do plan to take legal action at this point and hoping this review might get the attention of a manager who has been ignoring me for well...
Read moreI wished I would've read the reviews. I saved for months to buy a nice couch. Spent $1,300. Within 9 months the cushions broke down and Pete got them replaced, after several months, by the manufacturer. I was told by Pete this was rare. 5 months later, they broke down again. Pete made it sound like it was my fault. Looking at the product reviews, there were HUNDREDS of complaints.
After not hearing from Pete, I came into the store. My 'new' cushion had been sitting there for ? how long??!! Such poor customer service I called my brother in law to see if I could sue. I've never sued anyone, but I just want my money back. I got a broken down cushion!!!(took 5 months for this 'new' replacement). obviously it is a used cushion, you take a leveler and it dips 4-6 inches. Pete said it's my problem they aren't dealing with the manufacturer anymore, YET he still sells the product. In most businesses, I would get my money back or at least get the cushions replaced by a local upholstery shop. Pete shows exceptionally poor character in his business dealings. I wonder how he sleeps at night? I am so disappointed with this couch. It looks like it's 30 years old and a slum couch. I am taking it to a local upholster and expect to pay about $ 500. Read moreI wish I could give them 5 stars as I really like supporting local businesses. The furniture is great, Mike was awesome when we were looking, and both Mike and Steve were respectful and polite when I contacted them with an issue. Unfortunately, that's where the service ended. I suspect it's not Mike or Steve who are the issue, but the owner George. I contacted them in beginning of August about a small tear in the fabric of the chair we purchased in late June. When the furniture, which we love by the way, was delivered, we noticed a blemish (looked like a snag) in the fabric but thought it would be ok because of where it was located. We eventually discovered the blemish was actually a small tear in fabric. Despite promises to follow up with me, I have yet to receive a call back regarding my requests (over 6 calls/texts) for a resolution. I truly do not want to harm the business, particularly it's employees by my post, so my suggestion is don't let the folks who deliver leave until you've gone over the furniture fully and send back anything that is less than satisfactory because you will not get their help once they've made the sale.
