It has been a while since I last visited New China Two, your typical Chinese takeout spot, but the memories of my previous experiences are still vivid in my mind. I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this place, as it left a lasting impression on me. However, one of the standout qualities of New China Two is their ability to provide excellent and quick service, especially for takeout orders. In my past visits, I found that if you keep your interactions minimal and simply place your order, the staff swiftly prepares your food, ensuring a speedy and efficient service. This aspect is particularly appealing for those seeking a convenient dining option without compromising on quality. The food at New China Two was consistently impressive, delivering hot, delicious, and amazing flavors. Each dish I tried was prepared with care and attention to detail. From the savory General Tso's Chicken to the flavorful Vegetable Lo Mein, the menu offered a variety of options that satisfied my cravings for Chinese cuisine. While my review is based on experiences from a few years ago, I recall the flavors being authentic and the portion sizes generous. It's worth noting that New China Two falls into the category of your typical Chinese takeout joint. The focus here is primarily on the quality and taste of the food rather than the dining ambiance or an extensive sit-down experience. As someone who prefers takeout, I found this to be a perfect fit for my needs. However, if you're seeking a dine-in experience with a more elaborate setting, you may need to explore other options. While I cannot comment on the current state of affairs at New China Two, my past experiences were consistently positive. The service was prompt, the food was hot, and the flavors were delightful. If you're in the mood for some satisfying Chinese takeout, it might be worth giving New China Two a try. Just remember, this review is based on my previous visits from a few years ago, so it's always a good idea to check recent reviews and ratings to ensure they maintain their...
Read moreThis was our first visit to New China Two. We were impressed by the many 5 star reviews posted. I am a 70 year old man and I appreciate traditional style things. I was very pleased by the outside decor. I liked the stone/concrete lions/dogs statues at the front steps, I liked the big red doors with the large brass hardware. Inside the decor continued to delight. We liked the wooden carvings on some booths, the Chinese wooden ship, the big red lanterns, we chose to sit in one of the booths where we could see all the dining room. A well dressed, young man waited on us and brought us our pot of hot tea. The teapot was a colorfully decorated pot with goldfish or koi, very beautiful. We ordered vegetarian style food. First, we ordered meatless wonton, and it was perfectly crispy and sweet with the red sauce. Next, we ordered vegetable pan fry noodles, and they were just the right soft and crunchy combo. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, brightly colorful and fresh. The third item we ordered was vegetable egg foo young, and the vegetables were also perfectly great. My friend, Judy commented how she like their sauce better than other places, which is thicker. The fourth item I ordered was vegetable Mu Sue with pancake, my favorite. We took home our left-overs. At lunch, the next day I said to Judy, "that's the thing, about Chinese food, It's just as good, the next day." I make her laugh, sometimes. We will surely be back!! All that wonderful food only cost us $58.00...
Read moreIt is with a heavy heart that I write this review, definitely one of the best tasting Chinese establishments I have had. Great cooks and friendly employees, until they have to deal with their boss(or owner). These owners treat their employees and customers horrible. Their employees appear to fear them and if you speak to an employee in an attempt to ask questions or discuss an issue, the female owner screams and yells at them in a foreign language. It's a very, very sad situation! I have attempted on multiple occasions to give this locally owned establishment the benefit of the doubt and make excuses for them, at this point we have resorted to trying delivery because it was as if they waited for you to get there at the pick up time before starting to cook your food. Today was the final straw, our order was more than 40 minutes late and when I contacted them to see what was going on, there was no answer or explaination. When I pushed to see what was going on, the owner was in the background screaming and yelling at everyone in a different language when the workers were asking questions. I refuse to support any business that treats their employees and customers in such a manner! No more excuses, no more anything.... I will never order...
