This place has top notch fish and chips..nice sized portions that are definitely shareable even if the person ur sharing with doesn't have a small appetite lol. The batter they use is seasoned perfectly and crispy. Fries are jus the crinkle cut but delicious. Basically everything is fried lol with the exception of salad so we go here maybe twice a year when we get an itchin' for some local top notch fish n chips. Don't waste your time going anywhere else to be disappointed. The popcorn shrimp, calamari, fried zucchini and mushrooms are all SMACKIN' as well oh yeah there are some grilled options and clam chowder but I haven't tried it, I'm usually craving fish n chips but maybe I will venture out to something different next time being I havnt been disappointed yet and food has always been consistent. As far as cleanliness, it is clean. They have beer and soda options and also nuggets as an option for kids if ur kiddo isn't into fish. The service..HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOLKS WORKING HARD HERE! Friendly and awesomeness pours out from our friendly person taking our order at the counter down to the server and the cook! You guys are the backbone...🤭 Pun intended of this establishment. Thank you guys for your refreshing service, wonderful food and clean place to come in and enjoy a meal as a couple or...

Great spacious ambiance with good food. This is a solid choice if you plan to have fish and chips. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. They have a maritime theme with beautiful murals and models of lighthouses for decor. You also get an extra slide of fish with every meal that you choose. We ordered the combination meal of 2 fish with popcorn shrimp with a cup of clam chowder and jalapeno poppers.

The clam chowder was excellent - warm, not too thick, just the right amount of salt and delicious. The battered fish was decent - I would have liked slightly thicker fish fillets and less batter, but it was delicious. The popcorn shrimp was excellent. The fries were very good and the coleslaw was excellent. The poppers were delicious but a little too crunchy from frying.

Service was fast even though they said it would take a while. The guys manning the whole restaurant were very nice.

All in all, this was a good fish and chips experience, decently priced especially for an extra fillet of fish, and in a clean, cute maritime restaurant....

What a disappointment!!! My mistake was trusting the reviews. Being from the east coast, I had never had a chowder bread bowl made of sourdough. Gross combo! The chowder was very liquidy, NOT thick and creamy like some of the reviews said. It lacked any flavor at all. I never add salt to my food, but I had no choice in this case. And I added a ton of pepper just to “try” to flavor it up. There were maybe 3 clams total, cut into tiny pieces. And only slightly more small potato pieces. Before getting there, I told myself I’ll have to come back and try the fish and chips sometime. After seeing the complete menu of literally everything covered in batter, not just the fish and chips. And after trying the soupy chowder, I decided I won’t ever be returning. The young dude at the counter was nice, the decor was standard kitschy seafood dive, but neither are enough to be a returning customer. As someone who’s lived in Maine for many years, I was totally bummed. This place had the best reviews for seafood for...

I have to give this place 5 stars. First thing first, this restaurant is a little bit out of the way and located within a quiet little shopping plaza. We ordered to go as we were in a hurry. We did noticed the inside was very spacious when we picked up our food so we may dine in next time. Second thing, damn they give you a lot of food for what you pay for. The fish was good but not the best we had BUT can you really complain when they give you this much food?! The fried oysters were our favorite part of the meal! Fries we don’t really care too much for.. just additional things to snack on. Clam chowder went down well. I would say from the price alone this place is hard to beat. The food is actually good… the price is good… what’s there to hate about this place other than location? It was really only a minor inconvenience. As some reviews have pointed out, they do give extra pieces. I don’t think they forgot how to count.. maybe it’s that small town generosity :).

Read reviews and thought we’d try it out. Based on location (dingy strip mall) we never would have even seen it, let alone considered it. INSIDE Old obviously repurposed former restraunt, old decor, aging vinyl seats, some tears. Dirt stains from ac vents. However, despite deferred maintenance surfaces were clean. FOOD HUGE PORTIONS. Think they forgot to count…. My 3 piece came with 4 and my wife’s 2 piece also came with four. We had fish and chips - beer batter is very crispy and thick. Couldn’t taste the fish, only the deep fryer. Clam chowder was good and thick. Didn’t get much in the way of clams though. Self serve condiments. DRINKS Self serve soda fountain. 2 prices of beers — domestic (bud, etc) and “premium” (corona, 805, etc). Personally I don’t consider those premium beers, but hey….. We went around 5pm. We’re in our early 50’s and we were youngest customers… easily! Service was fast, food was hot. We might go again.
