Harbor Freight — Local services in Redding

I live 25 miles one way out of town I called the Redding store and a Mike answered the phone put me on hold after 7 minutes I hung up called it back this is Mike again I'm still looking for a tarp that is on sale certain size he says no problem after he put me on hold we have 17 in the back and we're going to get some more tomorrow so you'll have no problem getting your tarp today so I made the trip down there look around didn't find no tarps that size on sale is one of the lady workers standing there and I told her she went in the back and looked and says no I don't see any so I said where is Mike he's up in the front so I said Mike you told me there's the size of tarp on sale back there there's zero oh no there's a bunch I'll go in there I'll go find them he looked around and looked around he found one he says let me go in the back there and look he went in the back and he goes well I don't see none I go you just told me that there's a whole mess of them back there come on down so you just wasted a 50 MI trip of mine someone should fire this guy he's a liar...

My husband and I have always loved shopping at harbor freight in Redding but today my husband took his coupon that was only good for today, Memorial Day, May 27, 2019 for 25% off ANY SINGLE ITEM (that's what it says) so he was getting himself a heat gun. So when he got to the register they tell him that what he is getting is excluded so the coupon is no good. Then WHY does it say ANY single item. We could not even read the small print and WHY would you have ANY SINGLE ITEM written on the same coupon where it's not good for half of your inventory. If you are going to exclude most all of your stuff then please make the small print a little larger so us older people can read it. He waited patiently....and that's hard for my husband when he is buying tools....for today just so he could save a little money. So you bait people with the wording on your coupon and then when they get there and are told its excluded they end up buying it any ways since they are there. Haven't been here in years saw they had a foot pedal I needed that I was going to use for my Shop-Vac with my miter saw I used all Milwaukee I wish I could remember the associates name but I approached them showed him a picture of the pedal that I saw they had in stock he kindly walked me over to the exact spot and handed it to me it's sad that nowadays things like that never happened anymore they just point I don't know what aisle and tell you it's there but I got some good service and he read my mind because I also was getting a new extension cord the main reason I stopped there was just for that pedal but I thought I might as well check their prices out and they were killer I can't believe I got a 10 gauge extension cord for the price I got it at as much as I'm a brand horror I will say I am humbled and we'll be coming back again to check out some of their stuff let alone the awesome service was very impressed can't...
