I've been to this store a handful of times and my experience has never been anything but fantastic. From the wide assortment of products they carry to the welcoming amenities they have available it's nothing but a good time when I walk into Hordes & Boards. The staff are all so friendly and helpful that I end up spending most of my time shopping, just asking them about what new products are out or decks to build. It's not only a game shop in the traditional sense but a video game haven with tons of consoles available including a spectacular VR experience, and the most up to date video games available. Hordes & Boardes is an amazing and safe place to come and enjoy DnD, Magic the gathering, video games, and all other table top gaming experiences with a positive community of fellow gamers. I found this place from Facebook, and took my boyfriend and friend with me for the first time here. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted and given a tour! From the pictures I was a little anxious it was going to be a small and crowded store, but the layout is open and not stuffy for how much stuff they have in there! The environment felt very welcoming, and employees were ready to help us with our dozen questions. I immediately loved the dice gumball machine. We also bought multiple boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. 10/10 stars! BEST birthday party EVER!! I didn’t have to do anything but show up. There were 2 people on staff who answered any and every question any annoying little kid could possibly ever ask. The staff never seemed irritated and jumped up to help anyone who needed help. This was a birthday party for a little boy who turned 8. It was held on June 22nd from 10-1. The staff ordered the pizzas which came in a timely manner and the sodas were cold. They provided the cups and plates and silverware and even the freaking birthday cake!
