I really wanted to enjoy this space but today was so disappointing. We came in about 2.5 hours after normal opening time, trying to be respectful since they just held an event last night but then we waited over 30 minutes for only two burritos which were made wrong on top of my drink being wrong as well. I gave a $3.90 tip at time of placing my order and regret it. My drink came out wrong but I was giving grace since I know it was only one person making the order. They then spent 30 minutes making 2 burritos - which we were told would "take some time" but I wouldn't expect it to take that long and then turn out to also be made incorrectly. To make matters worse they were spending most of the time with I'm assuming another customer talking bad about how the event went, complaining about customers and how everything turned out - mind you people paid $30/person to be there and it sold out the day before.... Makes me second guess ever attending their events when a worker is opening talking bad about it with another customer while spending 40 minutes just to make orders wrong (We started waiting at 9:30 but left with our food at 10:15). At least the...
Read moreThe Pangaea Guild Hall has absolutely phenomenal atmosphere, great food in both the morning and evening, great coffee, creative cocktails, and an inviting atmosphere staffed by friendly, positive people.
The Guild Hall has an ambiance all its own, bringing a nerd-chic vibe not found anywhere else in Central Oregon. It wouldn't be inaccurate to call it "nerdy McMenamin's", but that still wouldn't fully encompass the Guild Hall's atmosphere.
The effort put in by the owner, Chris, is evident in everything from the menu down to the music and decor, and from talking with the baristas and bartenders it's clear that everyone at the Guild Hall has taken interest in the establishment's long term success.
If you're looking for a space beyond work and home to relax, I can't recommend the Pangaea Guild Hall highly enough. Either in the morning for coffee or the evening for a cocktail, for some alone time or a game night with friends and family, the Guild Hall is a wonderful place to...
