Food good. Great mushroom Swiss. Been coming here for many years and the only thing that brings me back is my mushroom Swiss craving. I base this review on coming here for years as a local. Better service at McDonald's. Don't expect staff to be aware of your needs in many cases. Not always but enough to notice. Applies to single and group experiences. Not at all uncommon to see patrons seek staff for basic needs not being attended to, such as checking on customers, attention to beverage levels (getting tired of running out of tea most of the time while sitting right at the bar), taking orders in a timely manner, forgetful on condiments, or just getting someone their menu. All to often patrons need to go find staff. Not uncommon to see staff interacting with personal matters while patrons wait. Have observed same staff doing same for years. About half do a good job, half cost the place money. May find a new local place. Anyone know a great mushroom...

We usually have never had any problems going here. My family loves this place and the atmosphere. Unfortunately we had an extremely horrible experience yesterday. The waiter was not friendly at all took forever to bring us our drinks even longer to take our order. When we did finally get our food that was the last time we saw him. He never came back to check on us we never got refills and when we were done eating we had to flag down another waitress to bring us our check and a box. The next day my husband was looking at his bank account and we discovered that the waiter had given himself a 10 dollar tip on our credit card and also over charged us for our bill. When I called to speak to a manager I was told I'm sorry and I refunded your 10 dollars back. As a manager I would have at least comped part of the bill and reassured me that the waiter in quest would be disciplined. Cause now I'm wondering how many other people he has...

Went to go eat at the establishment and wanted to sit outside. The party I was with got cold and we asked if we could get our food to go and we waited a while before we noticed two parties that arrived after us got apps and food before us. I got up and went in to ask what was going on and when I was seen by my waiter he quickly went to the kitchen and talked to the cook who stared me down and then finally grabbed our food we had been waiting on from behind the pick up window and handed it to the waiter to put into a bag. We were assured it had just got done and when we got home everything was cold like it had been sitting for longer than the 5 minute car ride home. On top of that there was a 50 cent per meal charge for to go orders. No mention on the menu or from the server.
