Arguably one of the best breakfast burritos and coffee in the LA County. As for the breakfast burritos, they are straight up quality. Every breakfast burrito comes with Eggs, Cheese, Salsa, and Hash browns. The most popular breakfast burrito is the 2 meat combo with Bacon & Sausage. They have the option to add avocado or jalapeños to the burrito. Honestly, the size of the burrito and the price is perfect. Trust me, you will be satisfied by the time you finish the burrito.
As for the coffee, they serve up some of the best Specialty Coffee roasters in the US. They rotate roasters with Stumptown, Heart, Sweetbloom, Onyx, Madcap, and other great roasters. They serve anything from drip coffee, espresso and milk drinks such as cortados, cappuccino, lattes, etc. They also have cold brew and kombucha on tap.
As for the operation side, food and coffee come out in a timely manner. The experience is easy-going too. Just order your food, take a number and they bring it out to you. You can also do phone-orders too. They are cash only, so make sure you stop by the bank or use the ATM they have...

People love this place and it's not hard to see why. Breakfast burritos by Asians? Yes please! Cash only and they have an ATM inside. I got the ham and sausage burrito, not so impressed with the ham but it was a tasty burrito nonetheless. They put hash browns and eggs in it and it was a good size to be full but not to be catatonic. Nicely done Phanny's!
Then I saw it, the words draft and brew on a blackboard. Nitro. Sounds powerful. It's 11am and I'm ready to get loaded. I ordered a nitro draft, anticipating a cold beer. It came out a creamy bobba drink like of a coffee. :( Definitely not my drink of choice. They were kind enough to take back the drink after I determined it was not for me. Be careful when ordering the nitro draft brew I guess.
The place would be even more awesome if they had some plugs. My everything was dying and the only plug by a table was totally defunct. Good thing my phone is so old I can just leave it by a bench and no one would care...
Read morePhanny's is a South Bay institution (since 1982!), so it was high time we gave the famous breakfast burritos a try. Their tiny dining room is closed for COVID, so go to the PCH-facing walk-up window to place your order, then go around to the rear parking lot to pick it up when ready. The Stumptown Roasters coffee was excellent. I ordered a lavender latte with oatmilk, which was perfect for sipping while we waited for our food on this dreary fall morning. Our breakfast burritos took about 10 minutes. We had the veggie (add soy chorizo), and the carne asada, both of which come standard with eggs, crispy hash browns, cheese, and salsa. The veggie with chorizo was the clear winner for flavor, but grab some hot sauce and the beef would be solid, too. The only nit to pick was the sauteed onions were still a bit raw and overpowering. They should either cook them a minute or two longer, or cut them smaller. Otherwise, a great choice for breakfast... We'll...
