Now I absolutely love their pizza cuz I get to customize it with a variety of different toppings especially Green Olives which most pizzerias DON’T offer but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Green Olive factor as well as the MOST DELICIOUS PIZZA CRUST… YUM! It’s a thin chewy, perfectly cooked or baked with a slightly buttery (or it could be olive oil) flavored crispiness mixed equally with a chewiness as well. Now I’ve never been to NYC yet (even though it’s on my bucket list) so hopefully I will get there one of these days and one of the 1st things I plan to do is order a slice from the #1 BEST PIZZARIA recommended ONLY by the locals (and I’ll drive as far as I have to even if that means going to Jersey. Now CA I realize I got a little off-topic there, but my point is that I really really appreciate having an East Coast style pizzeria out here in California. I can’t imagine how many choices they have out there and tell you the truth, pizzeria California or terrible! Especially any pizzeria who likes to put ham and pineapple together on a pizza or barbecue chicken it’s just GROSS!
Anyway back to why I love Amici’s… but only is their pizza delicious but their mac & cheese fish is absolutely divine as well as their lemon garlic broccoli dish. Oh my goodness delicious and yes, the prices are a bit high but quality over quantity am I right?
So EVERY year my Mom takes me out to lunch on my birthday & EVERY year I choose Amici’s in Redwood Shores! Recently, I heard some disturbing news however that there was a possibility that was going to discontinue offering rain as a topping and if that happens, I probably won’t eat there anymore because like I said that’s one of my favorite toppings and it’s rare to find a restaurant offer, so please please I hope that it’s just a silly rumor That you guys will continue to offer all the wonderful toppings that you currently offer. Thank you so much for your delicious food!
So to sum it all up: Amici’s is the most delicious, high quality East Coast style pizzeria’s but if pizza isn’t what you’re in the mood for just know that they also offer a variety of some truly flavorful and mouth watering Italian dishes and to top it all off their service in my years of experience has always been superb with the staff members being nothing other than always very polite and friendly yet they are also very efficient as well as fast but without ever making you feel rushed or uncomfortable even on their very busy evenings which just makes your visit an overall pleasant one with good vibes and a family friendly atmosphere yet it also makes this restaurant perfect for a variety of different occasions!
Grazie Amici e continuate così! Ciao! or in English:
Thank you Amici’s and please keep up the...
Read moreLike seriously where do I begin. This place is by far my favorite pizza place!! I wish I lived closer. My family and I ordered a couple of different things and shared so we can try it all out and they didn't miss. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and that was scrumptious! My littles got their spaghetti and meatball kids plate and substituted the noodle for penne. My other kid got the cheese kids pizza and they both loved it! We also ordered their garlic parm bread for starters and it was soooo good! Their ranch is killer too! The service was on point and we were well taken care of. The cleanliness was to my liking. They allowed my pet inside and didn't hassle me about it. They welcomed us happily. The waitress was amazing and super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. We were super pleased with this location and their food. We also tried the location they have in SF and it passed just as this place. I have to say this is a must stop if you find yourself near an Amici's because I've gone to two locations and they didn't miss. We ordered a chicken pesto sandwich to go and that thing was out of this world good! So I assume everything on the menu is good. We ordered 6 different items on the menu and it all passed our standards of presentation, flavor, and taste check. 😋 Amici's definitely doesn't disappoint. I can't stress this enough you have to try this spot at least once for yourself. I understand we all have different taste buds but this place is worth...
Read moreI've tried this place twice...my first time and my last time. For what the charge I expected perfection.
I ordered a fettuccine Alfredo and 20 wings...
The fettuccine was heated to an extremely hot temperature and covered with parm cheese. It was rubbery and sauce had no flavor...
The wings .... So this was a take out order. The guy on the fone said my order would be done in 10 min. I live near buy so by the time I made it there and paid...the waiter said it would be another 2 min. 15 minutes go by and I ask where is the order...I come to find out it's been overheating and being steamed to death in their warmer. They offered to remake the wings...and I agreed. After waiting another 10 min, I got some soggy reheated wings...but this time they just threw a ton of chopped parsely on top. I also came to find out they forgot my ranch sauce.
In a nutshell, 20 Soggy wings and tastless pasta for $50.00. I can get a better product from pizza hut for alot less.
I didn't want to bother arguing with them so I just left. This...
