Ellianos Coffee Company — Restaurant in Remerton

I don’t just like coffee. I LOVE coffee. My wife and I will travel miles for an establishment that does it right. Ellianos is just such a place. Their espresso drinks are hand packed and pulled and are not the result of pushing some button on an automatic machine. The baristas know their stuff and provide this heavenly nectar consistently. Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are delicious and well worth trying. Now, a caveat. This quality of product does come at a price. Time. Hand pulled drinks made to order can not be rushed. Espresso must be served/ used fresh to guarantee best flavor. There’s no speaker system here. You pull up to the window, order your drink and wait for it to be prepared in front of you. This takes time. There are two windows in which to choose, but this place is so good, there’s always some sort of line for each window. If you are in a hurry, go see the mermaid. Drove up, said, "I'm here for pumpkin everything!" 🎃 Gotta have my pumpkin spice during the fall. Anyway, asked for hot pumpkin latte and pumpkin muffin. Was handed an iced latte. Reminded I asked for hot. The problem was corrected. I didn't mind waiting because I had nothing else to do, but I felt bad for the person behind me. Got half way home, pulled out my muffin to rip of the top...it's ewey gooy chocolate, chocolate chip. I love chocolate, but I stopped for "pumpkin everything." I turned around, drove back, waited in line again, told the person that I must have gotten someone else's order by mistake. It took another 7 minutes to get the correct muffin. I should have asked for it unmicrowaved because it was piping hot which reduces the flavor and satisfaction of pulling the top off just right as you're driving away. I guess they have some new people there the service was rude she closed the window in my face in the middle of me giving her my order and then she came back being sarcastic saying oh I just thought you needed a little bit more time to make up your mind why would I need more time to make up my mind if I'm sitting there telling you what it is that I want at that time so I won't be going back I'll go to the other one because I like the food and normally the people are pleasant I usually give good tips first service considering that I am in service work myself I deal with the public and normally the rule of thumb is leave your problems at home put your best effort forward at work you're being paid for a service and no customers are not always right but they are some good people did I appreciate good service especially when you're dealing with...
