We got a cajun chicken pasta, a three-part meal of a half-rack of ribs, beef fajita quesadillas, and chicken crispers, and a deal of a secret sauce burger (one of a curated list of entrees eligible for this deal), a salad (could have had chips and dip, but we already got that separately), and a drink, plus an order of endless chips and dip for their rewards program membership.
I'll start with the ribs because that's always the most important part. They were pretty tasty and very meaty for their size, just not super huge or the most flavorful that I've had. Above average, really. The chicken was two normal strips/fingers, quite crispy, with decent flavor. I prefer my chicken juicier, but okay. Came with ranch. The four fajita quesadillas were really tasty. Honestly, if there was a whole pile of those (like . . . 20), that'd be the best thing to order. They're small, but just stuffed enough to qualify as both beef fajitas and quesadillas. My meal also came with fries (unremarkable) and a cob of corn with herbs and parmesan (really great). Overall, for something like $23, I was pretty pleased.
I didn't try the cajun chicken pasta, but the guy who did said that it was good, and he has solid taste, so I'll put my stamp of approval there.
The burger came with fries (still unremarkable) and was surprisingly pretty bland. If they put any effort into making their "secret sauce" particularly good, they'd use enough of it to matter. Fortunately, ~$12 was a pretty low price to try it with a solid salad and a drink.
Service was savvy, and he didn't make a big deal out of me paying with four gift cards, which is how I saved money via the Raise app. Speaking of which, they should get a more up-to-date system so that they can just scan gift card codes easily, rather than doing it manually, but that's an issue with corporate, not the locality.
Overall, pretty pleased. Will come back and try more, knowing now to avoid the secret sauce burger. I'll edit this review if the next visit turns out anything...
Read moreNever had such horrible service here as we did today. I went with my 2 daughter's, my grandson and then my husband joinedus after about 30 minutes. We were sat immediately after arriving but no server came to greet us or take our drink orders. After about 10 minutes the table next to us for sat. They were greeted and ordered their food within 10 more minutes. We still had not even been greeted or asked if we wanted drinks. My daughter got up and walked over to the bar to buy a glass of wine, came back....still no server had come by. By then we'd been there for about 25 minutes. I finally went to the host stand and asked if anyone was going to come take our drink and appetizer orders. The server came by, no introduction, no apology, and asked to take our drink orders and the order for my grandson. We got our drinks and my husband arrived to join us. We ordered our meals which came out fairly quickly stick was nice. However, our server never checked on us and when my husband asked for a refill on his diet coke, it never came. The server never came to collect payment. I guess he just assumed we were paying with card on the little table kiosk. I paid using my gift card if gotten for my Birthday. I wanted my Birthday dessert but like I said before, after getting our food we never saw our waiter again. My daughter, who was paying cash actually had to go to the bar to see if the bartender could pull up the remaining balance so she could pay. We have dined at this Chili's on several occasions and never ever had such horrible service but after today, I'm not sure...
Read moreManager was great! Server was not so much. They messed my sons food up and the server acted like it was my sons fault and looked at him like... " just eat it". He also did not apologize. It wasn't THAT big of a deal until we finished eating and my sons food wasn't out yet. It was a chicken sandwhich. He kept telling me the kitchen was really busy and it was coming. I've worked the industry. Tou make sure kids food is correct and also you put in a post haste to the kitchen when they mess food up. You don't put it to the back of the line. It's shouldn't take 30 min for a mess up to be ready. When I approached the manager he went right to the back and got my sons food and then took care of my check. I think we were profiled by the server because we are young with 2 kids and dress in jeans and Jordan's. It happens to us a lot. Guess he thought we weren't good tippers. I made sure to hand him a $20 bill before we left and told him he could thank his manager and not his serving skills for what is probably his best tip all day. Food is always great here! Never had a bad experience before. And I probably wouldn't have complained if it wasn't my sons food. He had to eat it at home. But as I said, the manager was very generous about it and I appreciated...
